When I pick a green tube of Clinique Lipsticks, I always know in my heart (whether I look at the shade name or not) that the color will always come out natural. That's how I think they were for the past years.
But recently, after the launch of Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer and Liquid Color, I knew the brand is changing their lip color game!
Thankfully, these lippies have the same luxurious-feel with a weightless formulation thus giving my lips that strong, bold and saturated color without drying out my already dry lips! And because it is Clinique, they have the same Fragrance-Free, Allergy-Tested promise!

And because they are good, I'm so glad I got 2 new shades (sample sizes though but good enough for travel)

Swatches: Bare Pop and Raspberry Pop
Bare Pop is a neutral pinkish brown shade with sparkles.
Raspberry Pop is a medium berry shade.
AMW wears Bare Pop
As soon as I saw the swatch, I knew this is a frosty type of lipstick that I would hate to use! Suprisingly, the frostiness isn't as crazy on lips and it actually made my dry lips look hydrated and better. The shade seems to be sheer on swatch but it can actually cover uneven tones of my lips. This is a lovely daily shade that I can just close my eyes and wear no matter what my makeup look is or what my outfit will be!
AMW wears Raspberry Pop
Okay if you wanted real POP without making your already-full lips HUGE, this is a nice shade to go for! Pigmentation is extremely good and you also get a nice sheen on top making this a highly pigmented lip balm type of lipstick!
I honestly love both lip colors and I like to put them on my daily makeup pouch because both are safe colors to wear no matter where you go! I also like the formulation, pigmentation and feel of these lipsticks! They are very comfortable, stays approximately 3-4 hours with eating and drinking and I love how they feel buttery on lips.
Definitely a must try lipstick brand when you are someone like me who likes fashionable colors on matte lipsticks but suffers from dryness.
