L'Oreal Micellar Water Review

So, everyone's been reviewing the L'Oreal Micellar Water and I'm just doing so now because I just finished up the ones I'm using --- Maybelline, Bioderma and Biore!

I know, I'm slow but better late than never right?  But before I start, do you like this product?  Have you tried this?

AMW says ---

Pros

  • Packaging.  I like the simplicity of the packaging.  Just like my favorite brand Bioderma.
  • Comes with 2 variants for different skin types.  Blue for oily skin, Pink for dry skin.
  • Both works for sensitive skin.
  • Can remove almost all traces of makeup, even the waterproof ones.
  • Non-oily.
  • Does not feel heavy on skin.
  • Does not irritate or burn the eyes.
  • Price

Cons

  • Packaging says to wash eyes if it gets into your eyes.  Which is opposing to the no wash makeup remover.  But thankfully, if you use cotton pad or use properly, you will survive not getting any of the product in your eyes.
  • May not completely remove waterproof makeup, most difficult to remove?  Hardcore liquid liners and mascaras.

Overall
An effective micellar water in terms of good "first base" cleansing.  I like how it can almost removing everything then I prefer the 2nd cleansing which includes water.

Tips
  • Store in cool, dry place.
  • Shake before each use.
  • Use cotton pad instead of cotton balls to prevent product from getting into the eyes.
  • Once it gets into the eyes, wash with running water immediately just for safety.
  • Leave the damp cotton pad with product on the eye area (eyes closed) for at least 30 seconds to melt everything before wiping.
  • Use the back of the cotton pad for the other eye.  Do not use and reuse dirty cotton pad.
  • Use another cotton to remove the rest of the makeup on brows and face and the backside for lips.
  • Wash with facial cleanser if you are not too lazy just for safety reason!
  • Can also buy this product online like www.beautymnl.com

Will I repurchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Those who want to try micellar water and don't want to spend too much.

Where to purchase and how much?
Available in local L'Oreal counters priced at Php225.00.

You see a bit of oil in this micellar water as compared to other brands.  So shaking is needed before each use.

What do you think?

I personally think this is a good product to start with if you wanted something gently remove your makeup before washing your face.  I love to use micellar water whenever I go home and rest first before I wash my face!

How do you feel about L'Oreal Micellar Water?

I personally prefer this over the one from Maybelline just because this removes waterproof makeup a bit better than the latter!

Stay happy!
