Once You Pop, You have to Wear It!

Once I popped my newest Pop Beauty Matte Velvet Lipstick in Pink Porcelain, I thought I'll leave it or give it away because it was too "cool-toned" pink and you know how it looks on a fair-skinned girl with warm undertone ---> SICK!

Thankfully, I was able to pull off such color because my hair looks darker than before, I find it that having light ash brown hair makes it difficult for me to pull off cool toned lip colors, do you feel the same?

Good news to girls who are looking for Paraben-free makeup products, I recently had a friend who messaged me asking for brands who offer such and guess what?  Pop Beauty fits the Paraben-free bill!

An innovative lipstick texture coats lips in bold colour with just one swipe. Colour-true and pigment-rich, this stay-put lipstick is enriched with Vitamin E to protect & nourish.

The product is colorful on the box but is actually quite simple and straightforward on tube!  A black tube with the color peeking at the bottom!  I actually liked it!

The shade Pink Porcelain is a cool-tone light baby pink shade.  It looks like a satin-finish lip product on tube but once you swipe it on your lips, it is indeed matte, but yes, it lives up to the name -- velvety-matte.  Meaning, it actually works on my dry lips!

Swatch: Pink Porcelain
You get this opaque shade in just a single swipe.  I am surprised how beautiful it looks!

And yes, this can cover up my uneven lip tones and I like how it lasts longer than my regular lipsticks!  Seriously, it stays after eating and drinking and retouching is needed around 5-6 hours or so which is good enough!

On to more details, it felt comfortable, lightweight and never enhance the dryness of my lips which is unusual especially for light-colored lips.  It does disappear maybe nearing the end of the day but it never settles into the cracks of my lips.  Thank you Pop Beauty!

I believe Pop Beauty offers more than 10 shades (around 12 in total) for this particular line, I can't wait to try their other shades!  I still feel uncomfortable wearing such color on days I feel tired or sleepy because I can never get away with people questioning me: "Are you okay?  Are you sick?"

But quality wise, this may be pricey as compared to other lipstick brands out there but hey!  Good quality + Paraben-Free + Not Tested on Animals?  I don't mind to splurge a bit as long as I get to use this often!

Do you like my pink lippie?
Or you think I look pale and sick?

You may purchase Pop Beauty products online (Zalora or Beautymnl) or select SM Beauty.
