Weekend is so near I just want to curl up in bed and sleep the whole day.
I obviously can't! So I may as well talk about something I like most! Make up!
And recently, after the relaunch of Palladio in the Philippines, I really took time to test some of their star products and one of them is the Palladio Powder Finish Foundation.
Yes, it says Powder Finish so you kind of know what to expect. But the big question is, how good/bad will it be on my normal/dry skin?

Palladio Powder Finish Foundation Says ---
This unique formula contains light-reflecting pigments which diffuse and bend to create a natural, matte appearance. Vitamins A and E, as well as Ginseng and Gingko extracts, aid in reducing the look of fine lines, large pores and other imperfections. Cucumber, Aloe Vera and Chamomile extracts soothe and moisturize the skin while evening its complexion. Designed with convenience in mind, this all day, sheer-to-medium coverage comes in an easy-to-squeeze tube that ensures no product (or money) goes to waste. (Suitable for all skin types.)
AMW says ---
Pros
- Packaging.
- A little goes a long way.
- Can double up as a concealer or foundation.
- Easy application.
- Applies seamlessly.
- Does not settle on dry lines and wrinkles or pores.
- Works for all skin types.
- Lightweight, does not oil up midday.
- Made with skin-loving ingredients.
- The effect is really nice, not complete matte and gives a certain glow.
Cons
- Although this product is made with safe ingredients - herbal and paraben-free (etc...), it may still cause allergic reactions to extremely sensitive skin users so please do a patch test before applying all over the face.
Overall
Oil-free foundation that is easy to wear. Can be applied on certain areas as concealer or all over face as foundation. Pigmentation is quite good and it gives a powder finish without drying the skin. Works for all skin types but sensitive skin, acne-prone skin may have to be careful in testing out herbal ingredients. (Personal experience and opinion)
Tips
- Do a patch test especially if you have sensitivity on makeup.
- I personally think the best tool to use a sponge as it blends easily and smoothly.
- Apply more on key areas of your face that needed more coverage.
- Dry skin users may get away not setting this product.
- Oily-skin users may still need to set with oil-control powder
- A little goes a long way.
Will I repurchase?
Maybe, to get my right shade as Ivory is too light for me.
To whom do I recommend this to?
All skin types.
Where to purchase and how much?
At Watsons priced at Php600.00.

Swatch: Ivory
Ivory is at least 2-3 shades lighter than my skin. This isn't a match obviously but since I got this, I may as well use this as my face highlighter.
Just for demonstration, I used this all over the face for you to see the coverage and effect.
The coverage is build-able and it does not settle on my dry patches. I also like how it sets like a powder and stay put the whole day.
