There's a Craze in Masking!

Thanks to Crazy! Lifting Mask - masking gets more fun in the Philippines!

When I first heard about such product, I got a bit nervous in trying them because you all know how "crazy" and sensitive my skin can be especially when it comes to masks!  The people from CNA Philippines assured me that this product is safe even for me!

Making sure I don't have important plans for the couple of days, I've finally given this a try!

But all you have to remember is that, you put the mask sheet for 8 minutes, remove and wait for the "essence" to dry up and crack!
Wash off face and continue with your regular skincare regimen.

INGREDIENTS: Water, Chlorphenesin, Adenosine, Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Fragrance, Glycerin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Butylene Glycol, Water, Centella Asiatica Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Albumen Extract, Butylene Glycol, Water, 1,2-Hexanediol

First, I wash off my face with my favorite cleanser, pat dry.  Apply the mask on face for 8 minutes.  

 

Remove the sheet after 5-8 minutes.  Wait for another 5-10 minutes until essence dries up.

Wash off essence with lukewarm water and because I wanted to test the product itself, I did not follow up with my usual toner, serum and moisturizer.  It is highly recommend you do so but for the sake of review and to make sure my skin won't react to several ingredients piled on my skin, I gave this a goodnight sleep and woke up with refreshed skin!

Wait, there's more!

I appreciate that the mask came in with an Crazy! Eye Cream!  It's perfect especially for travel as I only need to bring this ONE pack and I'm set for the day!

Now here's my experience, the first use was a bit uncomfortable as I can feel the essence getting "tight" on my skin, I felt there's a bit of "tingling" sensation but nothing alarming!  I guess this product helps "tighten the pores" that's why it gives that weird tight feeling.  

Now, the good news is, after washing off the essence, there wasn't any further negative reactions (even on the next few days).  What I noticed was the immediate brightening effect!  Imagine Korean Glow you see on K-Stars?  I see that!  I even had to ask Mr. AMW if it was just my imagination but it was confirmed --- it was a smoother, brighter-looking skin even after FIRST USE!

I can't say it diminished the look of pores or wrinkles on first use (and I honestly don't have visible pores).  But for users who have same skin type as mine -- Normal and Dry, it is very important to follow up with your usual moisturizer as it can be drying!  It was weird on my first try but with my 2nd try with follow-up moisturizer, everything feels and look even better!
