How to Contour and Highlight Using Contour and Highlight Stick from IMAGIC

Such a long title!
But seriously, to those who tell me they can't contour and highlight for the love of beauty... come on, YOU CAN!  You only need a lot of practice and maybe.... (shameless plug coming up) you can backread my past post...

How to Contour for Photography (I'm so proud of this post because my face looked so chiseled here!)

And of course, I also reviewed a similar contour and highlight product from the same brand...

But before you get distracted with anything else, let's talk about the new IMAGIC PROfessional Highlight and Contour Stick.  This product packaging isn't new in the market, Etude House has one, also NYX (in a slimmer pencil packaging)

Let's start with how to use such product --- it is very easy I tell you especially if you use this on a daily basis, you'll get the hang of it in NO time!

I like to start by using the "Contour" side of the stick, apply a good amount on the hollows of your cheeks as shown on photo below.

Using the tip of the contour crayon, apply on the bridge of your nose.

Chin area and maybe your forehead if you want to highlight that area.
I skipped that part since I'm sporting bangs.

The tools you use is very important.
If you want more drama, use a dry foundation brush or dry sponge.  For a more diffused and natural effect, blend everything with a damp sponge!

Before and After

Here's the thing about Contour and Highlight sticks, they are creamy, easy-to-apply but, it has a tendency to disappear midday especially on users with oily skin.  I find that no matter what your skin type is, it is very important to apply more than usual and set everything with a translucent powder.  This way, the effect will stay for a couple of hours more!

I personally like to add more drama by setting with a similarly-shade contour and highlight powder.  This is great especially for photography!  But for daily use, using this alone is enough!

I knew a couple of years ago, contouring and highlighting isn't a daily thing,
are there any changes now? Any of you who highlights and contour on a daily basis like I do?
