Focal Point: Eyes with iMagic

If you follow me on #AMWIGStories , you've seen how I've worked with my newest IMAGIC PROfessional Cosmetics 16 Color Eyeshadow Palette.  I've used just a couple of random shades for the past weeks but this is my favorite so far since this reminds me so much of the good 'ol Blogging days 10 years ago --- it's all about Copper and Rust with a hint of red!

COMMENT YAAAASSSS If you remember such looks!

In a gold, hard cardboard palette with a mirror, you get a unique combination of bright and neutral colors with different finishes --- there's Matte, Shimmer, Shimmer Glitter etc....

I like it that you don't get a conventional palette, you don't get the Fully Neutral Palette or Fully Bold Palette, this is a combination of everything with the added bonus of unique shades you don't seem to find elsewhere!

Imagine our favorite NYX single shadows in the past that we went "cray-cray" for?  It's that same feeling!

AMW says ---

  • The palette is handy and wonderful.
  • I love the Gold packaging but find it hard to read the ingredients list at the back.
  • All the Shimmer shades are GORGEOUS and heavily pigmented, they don't feel like powder, instead, the feel like cream shadows during application and dries off in powder-form!  Making it easy to blend and control the application and it sets just in time.  My favorites are Rebel, Bubble, Singh, Drive and Garica.
  • The Neutral shades are alright, I like it that it's rightly pigmented.   Meaning, you have room for mistakes without looking obvious.  Shades that has the right consistency and feel are Winky, Hunged, Profesh, Wine and bold.
  • The darker matte shades are a bit powdery so you need to be careful in application and careful for fall-outs.  Those shades I'm referring to are Smoked, Vamp and Prowl.
  • All these shadows last me until night time without creasing.  I didn't use any eye primer because I have normal lids.  If you have oily lids, it is still best to prime them properly just for assurance.

Overall I am happy with this palette considering the quality I get plus the unique colors they offer.  I get compliments on how nice the shades are whenever I wear them.
