Easy Shadow Look Inspired by Kate Tokyo!

Do you currently own an eyeshadow palette you can't seem to use up?
I know I've thrown a couple of palettes away with shades I didn't even touch!  So sad right?

That said, I am keeping more of those palettes that are small, straightforward and most importantly...I can use them on a daily basis!

One brand that I have been using a daily basis is Kate Tokyo and out of all the palettes they came up with, this new one called Smoky Round Eyes (php720.00) really struck me the most because I literally use all the shades in this palette whenever I use it!

GN-1
This is a great and unique alternative to those into nudes and browns.  To those who don't know, moss green is actually a great shade or alternative to browns for most Filipinas especially with brown eyes.  It makes your eye color pop more and it looks great on warm undertone.

How I would wear this naturally....

Apply the base shade all over lid as shown on photo below.  For the sake of showing you how easy it is to use this palette, I actually apply using the sponge tip applicator that comes with the palette.

Apply the light moss green shade very close to the lashline.  I like to use this as an "eye opener".  This is also a great way to create crease for those with monolids or hooded lids!

Using the flat portion of the sponge tip applicator, blend out everything.

Don't forget to apply the same shade on the lower thirds of your lashline.  This time, I use the smaller tip sponge applicator!

Picking the cooltone medium brown shade, apply this a little on the edge of the moss green shadow to remove demarcation marks, the effect will be more natural this way.

Now this is a great pick-me-upper!  I use this even when I don't use this particular palette!  I like to pick this light gold shade and apply on the inner corner of my eyes!

Easy as that!

The Kate Tokyo Smoky Round Eyes is a great way to practice your smoky eye makeup without looking heavy and wild!  I love how I can easily carry this one palette and create various looks.  You can apply more than usual when nighttime comes.  Thankfully, these shadows do not crease, smudge or transfer!

What's your to-go-to palette and do you use all the shades in your eyeshadow palette in ONE go?

Keep smilin'

Stay happy!
