Nail Art Tutorial: Bridal Nails for Crystal Fashion Show

You all know by now that I had my runway walk at the Crystal Bridal Fair wearing a Zandra Lim Bridal Gown for a cause last weekend.

I had my first fitting and I absolutely have NO idea what's in store for me.  I was only told by Zandra that she will be putting gold accents so I just played it by ear and created a very simple nail art design apt for this gorgeous gown.

Please bear with the uneven application, I usually clean up the cuticles the next day when nail polish is COMPLETELY dry!

Inspired by the blushing bride, I picked a nice blush pink shade as base topped with gorgeous shimmers and simple rhinestones that fit the color of my Bridal Gown.

Step 1:
Since I knew I will be using gliters (which is harder to remove), I used GirlStuff Peel Off Base so I can easily remove my polish after the show!

By the way, I LOVE this shade, you can apply 2-3 coats of this and wear on its' own.

Step 2:
Make sure the Peel Off Base is completely dry, apply 2 coats of Estee Lauder Nail Polish in Narcissist.

Step 3:
Apply random rhinestones, I used Gold because that is the accent color of my Bridal gown.  If you have silver accent, go for silver rhinestones.  I got this rhinestones wheel from Girlstuff.

You do you, apply as many rhinestones as much as you want but since I cook, I prefer to keep it at minimum.

Tip: How to make sure rhinestones stay in your nails?  Apply a clear coat, while wet, press the rhinestones with a nail art dotting tool.

Step 4:
This is my favorite step of all.
If you are starting out on nail art, invest on a good shimmer top coat.  It will make ANY nail art design more beautiful than ever!

I applied 2-3 coats of Born Pretty Nail Lacquer.

Step 5:
Apply clear top coat on top and enjoy!

If you want to start out on nail art designs, feel free to try this!
This is the easiest and trust me, it doesn't have to be perfect, I've been doing nail art for a decade now but it never looked perfect and I'm still happy with the outcome!

Enjoy! Let me know if you tried this and tag me please!

Stay happy!
