Charcoal Toothbrush? Yay ? Or Nay ?

So I recently got into the Bamboo toothbrush, with my love for teeth-staining drinks - coffee, tea, I knew I wanted to try this once I heard this can help for teeth whitening.  Activated charcoal are said to help absorb discolorations in your tooth enamel .

And the thing about this particular bamboo toothbrush I tried, the product is made of bamboo handle which is completely biodegradable and won't take forever to decompose unlike other toothbrush.

What I do based from research is that I would brush my teeth first with the charcoal bristled toothbrush without toothpaste then follow with how I would normally brush my teeth with toothpaste.

With constant use, I haven't really seen major change but thankfully, my teeth did not look as stained as before my teeth cleaning session.  I realized that my front teeth looks whiter than usual (as to most of the time since we all tend to brush our teeth harder on the front surface.

I can't completely say the toothbrush is a YAY or NAY for now as I'm still in between, but I love the fact that I am help saving the environment while trying to protect my teeth.

So I'm turning the question right back at you, do you think Charcoal Bristled Toothbrush would help whiten teeth?
Do you like the fact that the toothbrush is made of bamboo (handle) or you think it's a waste of time and energy to produce?

I'd love to hear from you!

Stay happy!

  1. The bamboo handle is very eco friendly and I don't find that it is a waste of energy considering the impact on the environment.
