NYX Born to Glow Illuminating Primer Review

Step 2: While waiting for your skin to glow from hydration, use an illuminating primer.

The latter is the fastest and easiest!  But it is a reminder from me to you to be consistent with your skincare!  You can't fake GLOW forever you know? *wink*

I recently chanced upon NYX Born to Glow! Illuminating Primer.  I find this to be a nice inexpensive alternative for a a primer that keeps your skin looking hydrated and glowing!

The product is housed in a squeeze-type tube which I really like!  As for any illuminating primers, it gives extra boost of moisture once applied so if you have combination/oily skin, do not expect this to work as a "mattifying base" because it is definitely NOT.

This primer from NYX gives off a layer of hydration but NOT greasy.  I love how it gets absorbed into skin leaving a soft-to-touch feel but never oily.  As for the effect, to see is the believe...

I really get a subtle glow as shown on photo below especially on the high points of my cheeks.  The glow isn't space-like but you'll see the difference especially when you take photos!  I love how it looks natural in person and the glow seems to shine through even if you have foundation on.

Thankfully, I don't have any breakouts from using this product.  For a drugstore brand, they DELIVER.  I get the glowing finish I want minus the greasy texture and feel, my skin also gets hydrated throughout the day!

Is this product worth testing and trying?
