AMW Wears: Nordgreen Philosopher in Gun Metal

I have a "thing" for watch.

I do not just plan out my outfit, bags and shoes, but I also plan the watch I will wear together with my outfit.  A good-looking watch would perk me up and add up to my style.

During lockdown, I got an email invite to try out NORDGREEN watches and I was a bit hesitant at first.  Hesitant for the fact that it is lockdown due to COVID-19 so I wasn't expecting ANYTHING to be delivered straight to my doorstep.  Aside from that, I am not really in the mood to shop for material things especially since I don't plan to go out anytime soon!  But this brand/company impressed me for so many reasons.  

Firstly,  let's talk about the brand.  Who is Nordgreen?

Nordgreen watches are Scandinavian Watches designed in Copenhagen, Denmark.  What I like about the brand is how they make the best effort to use recyclable and/or sustainable materials (including packaging) and I was impressed how they are socially responsible in helping people in need.  When click on their website , you'll see their efforts in helping Frontline Medical and Rescue workers by donating a meal whenever you purchase their products.

I like it when I spend my hard-earned money on a company that gives back!  I like writing about companies and brands with a heart.  

So I went ahead and scrolled on their site, their pieces are straightforward and up-to-date.  Nothing too fancy but the designs were up-to-date and right off my style!  

Their website is easy to navigate, you can easily choose "Shop Men" or "Shop Women" to trim down the options.  But trust me, you can shop both categories because I find great pieces on the men section.

I always start by choosing the design I want.  So Philosopher caught my attention and the next thing I was going for was to choose the color I want.  I originally fell in love with Rose Gold but it was out-of-stock that time.  My second option would be Gun Metal which is a great choice because I don't have this color palette on my watch collection as of the moment!

Thankfully, the brand gives size options for their watches.  As girly as I look, I always go for big-faced watches because I like to wear them loud and proud!  I went for 40mm (their biggest size for women) and it looks perfect on my wrist!

Best of all, this order came with a recycled Tote Bag which I will proudly use!

Overall, I am glad I own a Nordgreen watch that makes me feel good in and out!
