Hey Luxx Lash Magnetic Lashes and Luxx Liner and Lashes Review

Magnetic lashes or easy-to-apply false lashes are the the in thing for now and how lucky for girls nowadays no?

One lash brand that I have tried is called Luxx Lashes.  The company offers premium reusable and chemical-free magnetic lashes for those with sensitive eyes.

For someone who mostly wear false lashes because I gave up overall on mascaras due to my super thin, sparse and almost non-existent lashes, I immediately gave Luxx Lashes a try starting from their famous magnetic lashes.

Rosie Magnetic Lashes (Php1,799.00) is soft, feathery and lightweight.  True to what they advertise, the magnetic lashes from Luxx lashes are indeed very natural when applied properly.  I don't feel like I am wearing any lashes at all so these are perfect for long-wear without having to worry about chemical (lash glue) near your sensitive eyes.

If you have really sparse lashes and almost none on both edges of your eyes, I highly recommend to skip magnetic lashes and go for Liner lashes instead (will talk about them below.)  For someone who is very versed in lash application, I took longer time to try to connect the magnet on both ends of the falsies and many times, the magnet stuck together without having a real lash to attach to!  Because the magnet is quite strong (for a short strip), there were even times it pinched my eyelid!  *Ouch*

The opinion is 100% mind and I base my review from my lash condition.  If you have long and fuller lashes especially on edges, magnetic lashes in general are for you.  Although I was able to successfully apply the Rosie magnetic lashes, I find it a bit uneasy and felt like the lashes will fall off anytime of the day!

That said, based from my lashes, I go for the Luxx Liner Lashes.

Kali Eyeliner and Lashes (Php1,899.00) is similar to most false liner you see in the market but what makes this unique is the adhesive eyeliner that comes with the set.  The lashes are similar to their magentic lashes - lightweight, super natural when worn and best of all, these lashes are cruelty free and are 3D Korean Faux Mink.  You literally felt like you are wearing mink lashes without hurting any animals!

I have to mention about their Eyeliner Glue.  It is housed in a regular liquid liner pen but I find these AMAZING!  Available in Black or Clear, I actually refer black because I love wearing black liner on a daily basis.  With a firm brush and pigmented shade, you get a dark line in a single swipe but it is best you apply 2-3 layers close to the upper lashline and let it sit for a couple of seconds before you apply the liner lashes.

With soft pressure, the lash liner gets stuck immediately to the liner like "MAGNET"!   So easy to apply and mess-free!  Best of all, I skip a step of applying liquid liner on top of lashes!

I also tried a more bold lash design called ZIVA Eyeliner and Lashes (Php1,999.00)I call these "Pictorial" lashes because they look so good in videos and photos!  In person I probably won't choose this pair unless I am doing some makeup workshops, hosting or attending an important event.  These aren't called daily lashes for someone who prefers natural-look!  I mean people know I don't have these much lashes! :P

Though longer in lash hairs, this pair is similar when it comes to comfort to Kali.  I don't feel any weight or my eyes do not feel heavy or droopy even if I wear them for longer period of time.

Yes, the lashes look expensive at first glance but you have to calculate based from the number of times you may reuse these lashes!  Up on website, it says up to 30 uses!  Just divide the number of times you can wear against the price and the result will be cheaper than buying disposable lashes!

You have to keep in mind to clean and take care of these lashes after use!  I highly recommend to buy the Off-Duty 2-in-1 Lash Cleanser and Make Up Remover (Php299.00) not only used as a makeup remover but to remove excess "glue" on your lash band before storing it.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience trying out these lashes from Hey Luxx Lash.  I also have to commend on the brand for the earth friend packaging!  I wish they will come up with more designs soon!

Which among the lash design featured do you like the most?
