The practical girl in me would always say - "Give me food instead of flowers."
But as to most girls who exclaim that, it is difficult to admit that receiving flowers would give you that natural "high".

Then I realized gifting flowers is not about wasting money or not being practical. Giving and receiving flowers is (in my opinion) symbolizes strong affection - could be love, friendship, appreciation or concern! It embodies the feelings of the sender and the receiver can sense that.
Over the course of last year, I have sent so many flowers using online platforms, most of the time, it was a fail as I tend to do so in last minute thus the experience wasn't as good as expected.
This year, I want to be more organized and I'm jump-starting Valentines' Day preparation as early as today.
