The Manila Hotel is not just rich in history, it is a hotel that is very close to my heart because I actually went in there so many times during College Days for my HRM (Hotel Restaurant Management) subject. We had a project wherein we are required to pick a hotel who are willing to do an interview and share to us the job and responsibilities of each department.
The Manila Hotel is one of the most sought after hotel as a "subject" for the whole batch! I remembered doing everything I can to "woo" the HR Department for them to grant us access and interview each department's Managers. An impossible task? Not for me! I obviously got the access and every time I visit this hotel brought me back to so much "feels" and gives me the goosebumps! Because hey, I got uno (1) for this particular project!
And nothing beats reminiscing my college days with my high school sweetheart Mr. AMW at the hotel's famed Champagne Room. Because as much as we can get away with fast food, there are days we just want to chill, enjoy impeccably-prepared dishes in an outstanding ambience.
