AMW Reports: The Face of Juicy Cologne

Happy Saturday AMW Friends!
Let's talk about cologne.  To be honest, I'm not really into colognes as I prefer the longevity of Eau de Parfums and Eau de Toilette, colognes make me feel like a "trying hard teenager" but now that I am a mommy, things have changed!  I have opened up my mind to using cologne again (after 10,000 years) as I'm afraid the usual scents I use could be too strong for Baby Kyle!  I'm sure my sister is smiling ear-to-ear now as she's a fan of cologne!  

Recently, Juicy Cologne invited me for a launch to get to know their first ever Brand Ambassador.  I wasn't able to join them but that invite put me back to my "makeup gigs" memory box! Over a year ago, I helped out creating pretty faces at TV5's Star Factor program at the Juicy Cologne Booth!

Okay, the half day makeup gig was crazy!!! There were so many girls lining up to have their faces done and I'm glad I've done this with my best friend!  But anyways, back to the topic on Juicy Cologne, years after, I'm glad they finally came out with an endorser!  And as excited as I sound, NO it's not me, aside from not having the "artista" look, I'm waaayyy over aged!!!  *laughs*

Something New: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters

Happy first day of August!  Would you believe half year is over and it's ALMOST Christmas season once again?  *lol*  Okay, Christmas talk is a bit too much but August is a month dear to my heart, it's not my birth month, not my anniversary month but it was August of last year when I learned I'm officially pregnant!  Look where I am now!  All psyched up with the cutest baby in the world!  (Okay, forgive me as I'm the mom, who else would think their babies are the cutest --- mommies of course! lol)

Since we're on the topic of "looking back", let's look back to Revlon's Colorburst Lip Butters!  I have reviewed them last year (click AMW Reviews: Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters).  If you've read and seen my past post, I have actually "hit the pan" on the shade Pink Truffle!  

Today, there are 4 new shades of Lip Butters that's part of my "personal lipstick collection". 

If you think the shades are gorgeous just by looking at the packaging, wait until you see them "baring it all" :P

Estee Lauder Pure Color Cheek Blush in Hot Fuse Review

A natural flush that lasts whole day!  Who doesn't love that?  We're all addicted to that cute and romantic blush that screams "I'm in Love!" We all have that, but they never last the whole day!

Today, I am sharing a review on Estee Lauder's newest cheek product called Pure Color Cheek Blush!  I have used this several times when I go out and thank God it doesn't come off or stain clothing (or the baby)!

You wouldn't know what it is until you ask, or maybe, if you read blogs or online beauty sites.  As for me, I originally thought this is a fat lip balm or something...

Readers' Corner: What to Invest for Post Pregnancy Body

Dear Mommy AMW Friends!  

Today's topic is about Post Pregnancy Fashion!  You won't see me posting photos on the clothes I wear (as we all have different tastes and styles) but I'm talking more on the"getting back your body in shape" type of fashion!

My mom-in-law, 3 months after giving birth went back to her pre-pregnancy body!  Her clothes are proof on how sexy she was even after giving birth to a son and daughter!  I tried wearing her old clothes and I can't even fit some of them!  

Fast forward to my turn as a mom, who gave birth 3 months ago, I make sure to at least "try" to get back to my pre-pregnancy body (not that I have voluptuous and sexy body to begin with) but at least push back the extra hips that appeared after labor!  (promise, lumaki talaga ang balakang! lol)

Here are some of the things I think every new mommy should invest on to get back in shape or to at least look good while trying to get back in shape.

I Would Wear These!

I recently blogged about Anne Curtis  (post HERE), and look what the "IT" girl has under her "achievements" umbrella!  Another endorsement and this time, a clothing brand that I love!  Plains & Prints!  When you follow her on Instagram, she shares her OOTD (Outfit of the Day) with mostly Plains & Prints as part of her daily ensemble and I seriously can't wait to get my hands on them too!

Plains & Prints is my "to-go-to" clothing brand when I want to look for something classy, casual, girly or sophisticated!  I wore a nice Plains & Prints outfit during a Pond's Flawless White Unbeaten Challenge Event with Shobe Sophie and she's also wearing a P&P creation!

This year's 2013 Pre-Fall Collection, there are more choices that I would totally wear!  Take your pick on your favorite too!
