Wow, November is here and before we knew it, December is here and it's the Christmas season once again!  

Checking my "Query" mails, I realized there is one common issues that most AMW readers have been asking about, what's the best brand of skincare products for their skin!  I know my answer may sound generic to some but it is true, there is no such thing as the best skincare product for everyone!  There will always be that special brand that works for you!  It took me YEARS to finally understand the right skincare products for me, it doesn't have to be expensive, but it is very important for me to choose a range that targets my skin issues --- dull, extremely dry and sensitive skin.  

That is the big question for you to answer --- what is your major skin issue?  

Pimples?  Acne?  Pores?  Dryness?  Extreme Oiliness? etc...

Once you answer that simple question, at least you can go on a search with the right brand for you.  Recently, I got to know more skincare brands from different companies that may help your skin issues.

AMW Reports: Make Up For Ever Philippines is BACK!

Happy Thursday everyone!
I will be sharing a wonderful news to all Make Up For Ever fans out there!  I remember early this year when I received several emails asking me: "Where will Make Up For Ever be available again?" "Where are they going?" 

I seriously had NO idea, so I'm glad to finally hear something from Make Up For Ever again before the year ends!  Thanks Bernadette for inviting me to visit the new Pop Up Store at SM Aura!  I had fun looking around, checking out products just like old times (at their Shangrila mall branch).  I actually like the pop up store as I get to try out different Make Up For Ever products (old and new).

Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippie Review

Another brand of makeup you say?  Don't you think the world has enough makeup for you to go crazy for?

Speaking from the bottom of my heart: "NEVER!" :P

As a makeup enthusiast, makeup lover and a makeup artist, there will NEVER be enough makeup in our lives and we always welcome new brands with open arms!  Especially a brand that promises not only good, quality makeup, but makeup that cares for your skin!

Recently, a local brand called Happy Skin took "Instagram" by storm (@happyskin_ph)!  I felt bad for not being able to attend the launch but I definitely cheered Jacqe Yuegtian-Gutierrez, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo and the rest of Happy Skin team for taking cosmetics up to the next level!  Makeup, aside from going top notch in terms of quality is also looking aesthetically great!  

I got their cute lip product called Shut Up & Kiss Me early last week and I've been using both lippie for a couple of days!  Though a bit early, I'm really excited to share my review on this!

P.S. Each time I pick up this lippie, the song "You talk too much, I need your touch, come on...Shut Up & Kiss Me" kept playing on top of my head! (Come on 80's peeps, you  know that song right?)

Something New: Vidal Sassoon Premium Color Care Series #GetSassooned

Year 2008, I went to Shanghai, China with my family for a vacation.  It was a week long trip as my brother was working there so we had our own tour guide.  During those times, I've already set my heart to study (aside from makeup artistry) precision cutting.  I visited Vidal Sassoon Academy & Salon in Shanghai as I know Vidal Sassoon is the original salon genius when it comes to cutting, shaping and styling women's hair based on each individual's personality.  

Unfortunately, because of a failed timeline, I wasn't able to do so and decided to pursue hair cutting classes in the Philippines.  Though the dream to study at Vidal Sassoon academy didn't push through, I went home with Vidal Sassoon hair products instead!  *laughs* 

It was love at first use so I always have my brother purchase me Vidal Sassoon products (especially the hair treatment masque) whenever he gets to visit us here! 

Recently, I got a mysterious RED invite from my Sample Room family, who would've thought several years after having my brother lug these products home, I can finally give him a call and tell him: "Thanks but you don't need to buy me VS products anymore!"
