Weekend Food Trip at: Sear Steak Scullery

Ever since my son entered Pre-K at Banawe, QC, I probably made the "rounds" to almost ALL restaurants located in that location!  One of the most recent discovery is at Sear Steak Scullery. 

Sear Steak Scullery is one of the very few steak restaurants located at the said area so I am a bit excited in trying out the menu from there.  It's located at 238 Building which you will find other restaurants like King Chef, Tokyo Bubble Tea etc... around.

Now once you book a table, you will get a basket of their homemade pandesal which made my heart flutter!  It's the best tasting pandesal I've tried in my entire life and we actually tried purchasing these but these aren't on sale!

As much as the excitement were there, it died down a bit when we tried their fried dishes!

 Onion Rings

Deep fried breaded onions with cajun spice and tartar sauce.

I find that they added a bit too much of the cajun spice which I find a bit overwhelming for yummy onions.

If you are a long-time AMW reader, you probably knew by now how much I value beauty on the inside as everyone's first priority before trying to look beautiful on the outside.  

I know, easier said than done, how can each one of us feel beautiful on the inside if we have our own battles?  I know we all have our own trying times and it is time for each one of us to step up and say... "Hey, we're all going through something, I'm here just in case you need help!"


And that's how I try to empower each and every single one of you with my daily blog posts, posting about makeup, skincare, food may sound superficial to some but that is my way of helping other people in my own little ways.  

I answer EACH and EVERY Single email, query on all my social media sites because I try to reach out and help with the best of my ability!  A simple answer on "What's the best brand of purple lipstick" to "How do you manage your busy schedule as a Working Mom" will help empower other women out there who are struggling and need help.

I've been blogging for a decade now and I will be doing this for more years to come because this is just one of the many simple ways I know to extend my help and make other women feel beautiful in and out.

Don't judge me when I get all sentimental because I was sent a box of Avon goodies and actually watched this video.  Their Be Empowered video is definitely a must-watch video because that's when you realize that even big-time models/actresses have gone through struggles just like regular "Janes".

My Daily "Nude" Look

If there's an "everyday face for Nikki Tiu", this is my everyday face.

Well, not really, shall I rephrase?

If there's an everday "full face" makeup for Nikki Tiu, then that (photo above) would be my everyday full face look!  My version of a full faced makeup will always be ----

• Fresh-looking.
• I still look like me, but younger version perhaps?
• Easy and very quick to do, 5 minutes max!

Eureka Moment: Mascara Mishaps?

 When I first got the Happy Skin Pretty Clean Instant Makeup Eraser, I originally thought this was specifically made for eyeliner mishaps, I mean, of course, most of us have issues in eyeliner application especially when we try "wing-in' it" right?

Not me...ahem...give me some of my bragging rights, I have quite steady hands so eyeliner application is really not an issue of mine!  So, just when I thought this product is meant for those with wobbly hands...well, my confidence was thrown right back at my face whenever I apply mascara.

My lashes are short, if I may have to say it again and again --- very short, sparse, stick straight and non-existent.  So whenever I do apply mascara, it always gets into my lids because...I have to really wiggly the mascara wand from the roots of the lashes, which of course, is the easiest way to transfer some of the mascara to my lid!

Laneige Two Tone Shadow Bars Review

So Laneige recently launched their Milky Way Fantasy Collection which is said to reflect the beauty of the enchanting universe in its sparkling packaging.  

True enough, the packaging caught my attention but you get the pure, simple, Laneige-like packaging on all their products!  I am instantly drawn to the Two Tone Shadow Bars because it has a rose gold shade to coordinate with the white packaging.
