Max’s Corner Bakery Introduces New Cake Made with Award-Winning Malagos Chocolate in Time for Father’s Day

 

 

Max’s Corner Bakery, the bakeshop brand of the iconic Filipino restaurant chain Max’s Restaurant is introducing the new Malagos Triple Treat Cake, made with the country’s most-awarded chocolate. This is perfectfor those who want to treat their dads on Father’s Day this June 20. 

This premium cake is made with Malagos Chocolate, straight from Davao—the recently-hailed Chocolate Capital of the Philippines. It has layers of chocolate fudge cake, mocha, and vanilla chiffon filled in between with mocha buttercream and Malagos chocolate mousse. The cake likewise is coated with more Malagos chocolate mousse frosting and melted chocolate ganache, and decorated with piped mocha and cocoa butter cream on top. This gives customers a taste of chocolate royalty to indulge in.

The Malagos Triple Treat is already open for pre-order and will be available starting June 18 in Luzon stores, except forPalawan and Bicol, so families can now start planning early for Father’s Day. 

To complete the celebration, Max’s is also offering a special Father’s Day Bundle to celebrate dads everywhere. In it are a complete set of Regular Whole Fried Chicken, Regular Crispy Pata, Sizzling Tofu, Lumpiang Shanghai, Large Plain Rice, and four drinks for only Php 1,799. This hearty feast is an excellent way to show appreciation to fathers and father-figures.

Customers can also Max Up the bundle with a Malagos Dark Chocolate Cheesecake or Caramel Bar Cheesecake for an additional Php 400.

Black Jumpsuit OOTD

 

I don’t know about you but wearing jumpsuits are DIFFICULT!  Especially for moms who are always on -the-go.  As much as I complain about it, I have ore than 10 pcs of Jumpsuits (different colors and designs) in my closet!

As much as they are hard if you tend to pee a lot (sorry TMI), I like how easy it is to not worry about matching your tops and bottoms!  You can just pick a piece and off you go with the right pair of footwear!

This black number is my favorite because it is black, it has ribbons and zipper at the back!  I like to pair this simple black jumpsuit with a dainty ribbon!  Wearing my hair up will accentuate the design of the jumpsuit! What do you think?

I like wearing heels with this for a more formal event and rubber shoes when I am on a run for chores.  At home I also like to wear this because the top looks formal enough for sudden Zoom meetings.

123rd Independence Day to my Beloved Pilipinas!

I haven’t been doing nail art much when I turned into a mom but things are starting to go back to the usual....well, the nail art and nail polish application but NOT the super crazy nail art designs or complicated ones like my PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY Inspired Nail Art Tutorial Last 2011.

This particular nail art design inspired by the colors of Philippine Flag was done in less than 10 minutes with my inquisitive 8-year old son hovering around grabbing every single polish on my hand asking me: “What shade is this?” Constantly!  Hahahahaha

Thankful for Gel Polish as I was able to do everything and not worry about having my nail polish ruined!

The Philippine Flag consists of Blue, Red, Yellow and White.  

The National Flag of the Philippines features two equal horizontal bands of blue and red.  The blue color stands for peace, justice, sacrifice, and truth. The red color symbolizes bravery, courage, and patriotism. The white triangle represents fraternity, liberty, and equality.  The center of the triangle is a golden-yellow sun with eight primary rays, each representing a province At each vertex of the triangle is a five-pointed, golden-yellow star, each of which representing one of the country's three main island groups—Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

I know people are more sensitive nowadays with anyone wearing the Philippine flag as clothing or people are even bashed using the flag as accessory.  So I don’t want to make people sensitive about this so I did not draw the Philippine Flag on my nails to respect the flat and its’ people.  I used the colors instead.  So please...don’t bash me :P

Well, there’s no such thing as magic.  You have to make sure to eat healthy food, drink lots of water, exercise, stress-less, sleep at least 8 hours and lastly have good genes!
