GRWM: A Busy Girl's Guide

 

What's up guys!

This look took me less than 10 minutes (5 minutes to be exact) and I do this look whenever I get to meet someone at early hours or I just needed to look makeup and professional enough to make a client believe what I'm saying!  

It really pays to have a good base, a skin that is hydrated enough to accept all the products and can withstand all the friction - i mean brushing, blending, tapping.... you get me right?

VT Cosmetics Cica Skincare Products Thoughts

 

This product, I received last year around September or October.  I usually share just my initial thoughts since I do test a lot of skincare products but guess what?  I actually "hit the pan" on all these products from VT Cosmetics.

I tested 3 products from the Brand --

VT Cosmetics Cica Cream (Php1,200)
VT Cosmetics PRO Cica Daily Moisture Mask (Php1,290.00)
VT Cosmetics Cleansing Oil (php1,200)

Here's a quick test on the effectiveness of their cleansing oil.  The product is lightweight and does not blur my eyes.  It does remove certain waterproof makeup but as always, I can't get these close to my eyes so I do extra step on cleansing using gentle eye makeup remover for waterproof mascaras and liners.

I usually apply a good amount all over my face with eyes closed.  I gently massage the product all over making sure to be gentle on the eye area.  I lather it a bit by adding a few amount of water and after a few minutes, I would wash them all off!  The product smells good, does not sting and irritate my sensitive skin and does remove approximately 80% of my full makeup.

If I do wear very heavy makeup, I would use the same product to apply on a cotton pad and gently "melt" the waterproof makeup with cotton pad before I proceed to face wash.

Hi Everyone!  How have you been?
It is finally the first day of February!  January seems so long and I can't be the only one who felt that right?

DID YOU KNOW?  That February is my most favorite month of the year? 
Obviously, it is my birth month and this month still has a cool breeze before summer kicks in - I am not a summer girl BTW...I'd rather freeze my toes than perspire!  :P

Thankfully, I live in a tropical country so I only get to choose between 2 seasons - summer and rainy and I would choose ....hmm..in between...and that is FEBRUARY!

Back to the main topic of this post, I wanted to share something ROMANTIC...for the hair.  I have been wanting to do this hairstyle for too long --- long enough to be dated back in 2007 --- I wanted this hairstyle (Messy bun though not ponytail) as my wedding hairstyle but my hairstylist didn't /can't do it!  

Now don't get me wrong, you don't need to get married to do this hairstyle!  You can easily do so with ponytail and I am sharing some hacks you guys!

Are you into PINK OR ORANGE colored blushes?

Mine is actually NONE Of the Above because I am into Lilac colored cheeks.  

It started when I first tried Etude House's Sweet Recipe Cupcake - which I actually finished - yes, hit the pan!  I never looked back and even updated it with Laura Mercier's Kir Royale.

But as you all know, I could wear this for years but there are days I would look too pale and depend on my trustee Bronzers --- and no, I don't apply it as bronzer but as a blush.  It doubles up as a contour product too!

My favorite?  NARS LAGUNA BLUSH.  This works for all skin tone!  

You can be uber pale, medium tone or dark skinned.  You just need to control the amount of application and you are good to go!

I also like the fact that I minized my makeup application in half!  No need for separate contour powder and I can just use this same blush to apply lightly on areas I would like to "hide".
