Cathy Doll Shiny Bear Lip Moist Review

 

I was invited to be the host for Cathy Doll's Bear It Collection event last April 24 and trust me when I say, I was so excited about this collection eventhough it looked like a collection for girls ages 12 and below.  

Don't be fooled by the cute packaging!  These Cute Mini Bears are packed with pigments!  Pigmented enough but to ask kids 12 and below to give this to their big sisters or moms!

The collection comes with Big Bear Lip Balms (less pigmented, highly moisturizing) but I will do a separate review on that.  Here are my thoughts after using all 4 shades of the Cathy Doll Shiny Bear Lip Moist Priced Php109.00 (approx USD2.00 less)

01 Candy Pink

This shade reminds me of Mac's Candy Yum Yum in a more subtle version.  Buildable Pigment and this medium pink lipstick has a warmer tone making it easier to work with on Asian skin.  

02 Redlipop

Redlipop is the only red shade in this collection.  I love how it works as a "tint" if applied with light hand and would look like Classic Audrey Hepburn RED when applied with heavy hand.  It is more of a Rose Red shade rather than True Tone Red.

Entry-Level Tablet That's Worth It for only ₱6,999! - LUMOS Tablet

 LUMOS Ray Projector saved our family during Pandemic.  Nothing beats watching K-drama in big screen reading subtitles without the need to squint.  

Fast forward to exactly 3 years after, who would've thought I would depend on this brand again to fulfill my son's simple wish to have his own tablet?

I personally own a tablet for work and lends it to my son once in a while for his school research, drawings, movie watching and a whole lot more.  He requested to have his own tablet (rather than phone) when he graduates elementary which is coming up soon (This year)!  As much as we wanted to give him to best and most expensive out there, I would like him to start up on something simple, an entry-level that works just as fine as branded ones in the market for his age range.  And of course, I want him to work his way up to top tier ones for him to have appreciation on every material things he own.  

That's killing 2 birds in one!  

And I recently got to try out the LUMOS Tablet  Bundle (with accessories; keyboard, mouse, pen) which costs Php8,499. You may opt for LUMOS Tablet Only (without accessories) costing Php6,999

The Bundle comes with a 10.1 inch wide screen Tablet, a Bluetooth Keyboard, Bluetooth Mouse, Stylus Pen and a Case Cover.  

This whole bundle can transform a simple tablet into a mini Laptop!  This was supposedly for my son but I road-tested this myself for a week working on Blog Posts, Editing some photos for my Social Media and just listen to my favorite Youtube Crime Documentaries as I get ready for work.    

For someone who is not "techie", I do understand a few major points when looking for a tablet.  A good clear skin is much appreciated and 10.1 inch is perfect size not only for my son even I find it comfortable to watch shows with it.  The 4K resolution makes the video crisp and super clear with 8GB Ram (in which other brands would cost more with such!).  

In the past, my son used other brand and gave up when his scrolling isn't as smooth as he wanted.  I actually saw how much he used the tablet scrolling feature with no issue thus was able to do what school needed him to do in NO time!  

Keep in mind that this won't work as a "gaming" tablet, though my husband did try out some simple games and it still works as the tablet has 8GB processing speed.

 I am not a backpack type of girl even when I travel.  I am so paranoid with someone stealing my things from my back because it happened to me at Greenhills eons ago!  But who can say no to this cutie?

Size against my frame.  I stand 5 feet 4 inches with Medium Frame.  The bag looks huge right?  Truth be told, it gets heavy because I can carry a lot of stuff so Mr. AMW mostly carries this bag for me and it works for him even with the color!

The zipper is easy to open and close and I love how many pockets it has.  We use this bag to store Kyle's essential whenever we go out.  

Bottled water, Extra Shirts, Jacket, Towels, Wipes, Alcohol, Medicines and Mr. AMW would put powerbank, his own extra shirt and it still has enough space.  I call this a perfect school bag for adults and a mom bag for moms who have babies and needed to carry a lot of stuff from Baby Bottles, diapers, etc...

 Whenever I visit a salon, I always ask for the brand they use (on treatments especially) and I would always lean on to @lorealpro . They have been around for so many years for a reason. And this time, I am bringing salon Home!

The L’Oreal Absolut Repair Molecular Shampoo and Rinse-Off Mask are 2 combos I went for and I've used this for more than a month finishing the Mask left with less than half of the bottle of shampoo after I posted this on my Instagram.

I guess, it's finally time for me to share my thoughts.

L'Oréal Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut Repair Molecular Sulfate-Free Shampoo 300ml (Php1,570.00) ---

Sulfate-free formula gently cleanses to nourish and strengthen the hair.

AMW says ---

• Both products smells so good I look forward to use them daily.
• My hair texture does change on first wash.  I usually do not claim that to be good as most hair products seems to work well on first use, after a week, no itchy or dry scalp.  
• Shampoo itself is NON-drying.  Some professional sulfate-free haircare line are so drying I can't survive without conditioner, this is surprisingly good.
• The mask is my favorite!  I apply it at the bottom part of my hair and lesser dry edges.  You can see how healthy my hair look considering I use heating tools almost daily!
• I can easily comb my hair after shower with this combo!

I have tried a lot of variants under the L'Oreal Professional line but this (as of the moment) my top fave!  I will definitely repurchase the Mask and Shampoo (especially the shampoo) since there are so many good mask brands out there but a few good sulfate-free shampoos in the market!  A little goes a long way - yes, even with my hair length!  Hair feels soft, smooth, clean and healthy!
