AMWtv: Belo Sunexpert Initial Thoughts

Hi AMW friends!  If you follow me on Instagram and are cool enough to click my IG stories, you've probably seen how often I do initial thoughts/product reviews on products that I'm currently testing, random makeup and skincare tips and a whole lot of life-sharing.  With the positive messages I receive on the short and sweet IG stories, I am more inspired to do more!  And with this in mind, I've finally decided to create AMWtv, nothing special, not a full-blown "Vlogger" for sure but you won't definitely see the last of this video!  

Recently, I received a full range of Belo Sunexpert from my Sampelroom family!  Ever since Kyle went to school, I've been using more than the usual sunblock because I wait for him 3 full hours right under the sun so I tend to apply and re-apply more than usual.  So this is a blessings in disguise when I got fresh supplies of my daily sunscreen.  

YES, you read it right, DAILY sunscreen because the Belo Sunexpert definitely falls into that category.  They aren't sticky, extremely lightweight and doesn't change the color of your skin tone, and best of all, they work!  So please scroll further down for my initial thoughts video (upon receiving the products) and my in-depth review on each product.

Belo Intensive Whitening Tone Correcting BB Cream Review

So year 2016, Belo up'd their game by creating an instant flawless, no-makeup look in a tube called Belo Intensive Whitening BB Cream.  Given the fact that I have used and tested so many BB Creams, I raised my brows on this because I have this inkling feeling that this product will be "heavy" against my skin.  (That was my judgemental side talking :P)

All thanks to my Sample Room family, I get to try this out amidst all the judgements on top of my head!  So after 2 full weeks of use, I'm ready to share my thoughts.

What sets the Belo BB Cream apart from the rest of the BB creams, is the "Conceals as it Whitens" promise.  I know most BB creams have whitening properties but seldom do I find that "whitening effect" even after a year of usage!   (Referring to my Skin79 VIP gold BB Cream)

Initial Thoughts: Belo Essentials For the Underarms

 For the past years, I have survived not spending a single centavo on underarm products! 

Why?  Well, I don't seem to perspire a lot (must be in the genes) and my underarms are actually thanking me for not putting any products thus it looks just as fine!

BUT...after giving birth and my hormones literally went berserk!  I am sweating more like a pig!  And it doesn't help that I have to chase after my son almost every minute of his waking life!  

So yes, I'm finally using Underarm protection once again because I don't want to be the mom who chases after her son inside the mall with a huge circle of "perspiration" right were it's not supposed to!

I used to slather on sun protection on a daily basis!  Ever since I became a mom, my "beauty regimen" turned upside down!  At times, I go: "Beauty regimen..what?"  Because it's almost non-existent!  

Thankfully, I am a Beauty Blogger who tests beauty products so as lazy as I maybe, I force myself to do so to see results so I can report to my loyal readers who are waiting for my thoughts on specific products.

Sunblock, sun protection....I threw a lot of them away as most of them are expired and the rest were given away!  Who needs them when I'm not going out much?  

Well, I need them!  Whenever I walk to my mom's house, when I drive to events, I need them so badly but in my mind, I'd rather sacrifice for my son's safety!

Then I received a cute package from my Sample Room Family.  Yeah, cute but I may probably give them all away! 

Then I spotted an extra bottle that says NEW!  I gave a huge smile and said: "Finally!"

I've tried all Belo Sunexpert products during the Sample Room #SplashofSummer Getaway last year. 

My favorite is the Belo Sunexpert Transparent Mist in SPF50 PA+++ because you literally feel like spritzing water all over your body!  It is refreshing, non-greasy and super lightweight!  And the best part?  You are really protected from the sun because I went home without turning even a teeny-bit dark!

Initial Thoughts: Belo Kojic + Tranexamic Acid Intensive White

Well, long time reader would know how I am not into whitening products!  But ever since I see some uneven spots on my skin, I don't mind using whitening products on specific areas like my knees and elbows.  I recently chanced upon Belo Kojic + Tranexamic Acid Intensive White Line from Sampleroom and tried the soap!  It was an on and off usage so I can't seem to write a proper review not until a fellow Blogger swore on the said product line and gushed on how effective the Belo Intensive White line was on helping her get back to an even skin tone after a bad sunburn!  I then picked up the set that was sent to me for review and used the Intensive Whitening Bar Soap again and was able to find a willing "reviewer" to test the rest of the products.

Something New: Belo Collagen Drink

Everyone who lives in the Philippines (or even outside of the country) probably heard about Belo!  I mean who doesn't?  Belo prettified so many celebrities at times I wonder, if I'll end up going through those non-invasive/invasive treatments in the future.  (That's a whole different topic so I'm not going there!)

When Belo came up with products, I got so excited because these are the products you can easily find in the market and they are inexpensive!  One Belo product that I tried, tested and really love is the Belo SunExpert!  I used these sun protection product during our SampleRoom #SplashofSummer beach trip and mind you, I got home looking like I never left home!  *lol*

Then, I heard Belo came up with more products ready to touch every single beauty-enthusiast.  This time,the Belo Nutra products.

Dr. Vicki Belo has created the Belo Nutraceuticals: Glutathione + Collagen, a first in a line of dietary supplements that aims to beautify from within.  These pills provide whitening plus anti-ageing in one capsule. 

Of course I didn't drink any of these when these were launched because I was breastfeeding Baby AMW at that time and I just want to be safe so I've given mine away to my mom-in-law and so far, she finished all 30 capsules and told me she didn't feel any side effects.  There wasn't any "obvious results" because she just finished 30 capsules and didn't go for more.

Unboxing: Gamourbox's Flawless Beauty Box

Truth be told, I'm probably the world's slowest "Unboxing" person!  I guess I have my reasons..I'm a mom and it really takes time to take photos when you have a super active baby around who likes to touch all the products you hold (including the camera!)  And yes, I'm taking my own photos too (that explains the not so good shots) because Mr. AMW is a busy dad!  *hahaha*

Well, I'm sure you don't want to read more excuses from me and want me to jump right out and talk about Glamourbox's Flawless Beauty Box.

Truth be told, after my heart-pounding Beauties and Babies box , I don't know how non-moms would react receiving that box but I don't even want to think about what others would feel..all I know was that it was the best box ever!  If you're a mom, you'll understand why!  Everything for your baby is the best in this world!  

So when I received the Flawless Beauty box, before looking at the content, I was hoping for more makeup products, instead..the box isn't as full as before so I thought this is a let down.  But thankfully...it wasn't!

That's why when I got a whole day out of town invite on a weekend, mind you, it is very difficult to pry me away from Kyle, I told myself I had to be there, to show them how much I love and appreciate them too!

To Try Before You Buy!

If you are a long time reader of my blog, you do know how much I encourage you to ask for samples (if applicable) especially if you're eyeing for a product that costs an arm and leg!  Okay, that's exaggerating but you know what I mean!  I can definitely call myself a smart buyer as 99% of my purchases, I'm usually satisfied because I always take ample time in research and a lot of patience in waiting for SALE season or discounts!

AMW Reports: Get Belofied --- Now!

Have you "Belofied" yourself?

My answer?  "No"!  I'm definitely a sissy in terms of cosmetic surgery or even facial treatments!  Don't get me wrong, I don't judge people who go through invasive or non-invasive treatments, for me, if you have the willpower, the means and the want, why not?  But of course, for someone who's scared to go under the knife, there will always be that single moment in your life where you would wonder how you would look like if you have sharper nose, more distinct cheekbones, fuller lips, etc...  I believe a lot of you are nodding right now, wouldn't it be fun to see how you would look like with better features?

Last Friday, I learned about the Belofied App for iPhone and iPad, it's a fun and free way to enhance your features without shelling out money and best of all, it's Painless!   

The event was held at Kasbah, The Fort.  It was a first for me to dine in this restaurant and so far, I'm very happy with the food I've tasted!  After dinner, we were greeted by the gorgeous Cristalle Henares, daughter of Vicki Belo.

On a side note, most of us on the table were just staring at her!  She's definitely very pretty and have a gorgeous body!  Oh, I also asked her what foundation she uses that night, it was Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow!  I love how the foundation looked on her, flawless, very natural and clean!
