Askmewhats Version: Laura Mercier Quad Look

After doing a review on my newly purchased Laura Mercier Quad that I got on sale. Readers have been suggesting that I do a look with this quad. It took me a "typhoon" day to be able to stay at home and play around with this quad.

So here goes my LM "blue sky" quad look without anything except well..all 4 colors of the quad! So whatever eyeliner you think I have on, is just my LM e/s and I've used a liner brush to brush it on the lids for depth. For the swatch and product review, please Smile and say "LM Blue Sky!"

LAURA MERCIER QUAD in SKY BLUE

At first, I thought it was difficult to use all 4 colors together, but after putting them all on my lids, I find the colors are quite easy to blend and easy to use. I've used them as highlighter, eyeliner and it didn't smudge, I let it stay for more than 2 hours and I didn't have any "domestic violence" look :)

Shall I go out with this look?
Or do you think I have to use other products with this quad?
Feel free to comment
but break it to me gently...
it's the time of the month! LOL

  12. You've taught in China? what grade did you teach? I've always wanted to teach oversea but never had chance to. One of my friend used to teach in China. He said that the experience was great and the salary is even BETTER. Wonder if that's the case for everyone.

  13. Faux Fashionista, awww all colors for me are tricky to use! LOL thanks for the compliment!

Tine, dear!!! Thanks, are you giving me a pat on my head? *sits like a dog* LOL yay!!!

Ebeautyblog, yes, I taught University students *guplp* It was a challenging moment as I am Asian and I ain't holding a US Passport (sad to say) It doesn't always mean better salary but because your salary is still higher compared to the locals, you get to earn more and food is cheaper there! but you have to checkout the location! They also give you free lodging, free RT ticket in a year. It was the greatest moment of my life to be able to teach there! It was challenging and I'm glad to let them know once a teacher, always a teacher, you don't have to be Caucasian to be a good teacher :)

  18. You make me wanna go and experience it myself now. Maybe after I get my master. But it's true race has nothing to do with being a good teacher. A good teacher is someone with a dedicated mind and a big heart. Not to mention lots of patience...LOL.

  27. Blue's a scary color, but I think you did a good job. :) I can definitely see it being worn out in the daytime!

  28. Emilee, I know what you mean, do you know that I can't apply the blue color lightly? As it will turn gray on me!!! So if I want to create a blue look, I have to pack on the colors! so that's my tiny secret on using blues lol

  29. LOL, Nikki, that domestic violence comment was hilarious. The colours look great! Do you find it's easy to use all four colours though, even if you aren't using them all at once? I always find with quads, there's always one neglected colour.
