AMW Reviews: Skin79 VIP Gold Collection Super Beblesh Balm

Are you into BB Creams?
I know I am!
I told myself I won't fall into the hype, but gosh!
Since I got samples from Tine (Missha and SkinFood)
I got hooked to test on more!!!
Tine, I'm not saying you influenced me...well actually...uhm..YOU DID! lol

You've seen my previous review on the BRTC Cover BB Cream,
and one reader commented that BRTC Cover BB cream works as a concealer, it was actually a great comment, I tested on it again this time covering only on undereye circles and breakouts, but I would say, it works better if I apply it thinly over my face, as the coverage of BRTC Cover BB Cream is really light to medium.

I am drifting! hahaha Do not worry, I'll definitely do a Revisits as soon as I finish it.

SO.....

Let me continue, I told myself if I got more comparison on BB creams, I can shut up and go on with my bb cream-less life! :D
Introducing....

My Skin 79 VIP Gold Collection Super Beblesh Balm BB Cream
(and it's not just BB Cream --- it's SUPER BB cream yawwww!!!)

Askmewhats says ---

Pros

  • has an airy light feeling when applied on skin
  • brightened my skin in an unexplainable way
  • moisturizes my dry skin, it really does
  • has SPF!!!
  • doesn't create a white cast on your face
  • packaging: one of the prettiest packaging I've seen for BB creams
  • I felt rich! I'm putting caviar on my face! lol
Cons
  • The Name!!! Is BEBLESH ---- REALLY????
  • for someone like me who's got dry skin, I find that in midday, I need to re-touch as there's this "moisture" that comes out of my skin. NOT oily-gross type but there's some extra moisture. Overall I would say no oil control (this product did not promise to work as oil control though, so not their fault)
  • not available locally
  • packaging: you cannot see if you still have enough product left
  • I've used this again without moisturizer, it still gets to "oil" a bit in the middle of the day

Overall

I've done research as you all know before purchasing any of the BB creams available in the market. What caught my attention on this product is it's multi-tasking properties of ---
Whitening Moisturizing UV Protecting (both UVA and UVB) and Wrinkle improvement

If these are all true, ain't this the answer to all our prayers for busy women like us.

BUT of course...I have to say it again and again that not everyone has the same skin type, I have read some skin reacts negatively to this product while to some, it works so well on them. I find that looking for skincare / cosmetics is like winning a lottery.

I personally love this product, but I wouldn't say I NEED this, I can skip this step and proceed with my usual make-up application and achieve flawless skin.

How about coverage?

For people with heavy skin problem, this won't cover up scars or acne, after applying the BB cream, you would need an extra step of putting on a concealer. I would say the coverage is definitely Light to medium.

Tips

  • pump a small pea size amount of product and using your fingers, distribute it all over your face
  • do not forget your neck area
  • on days I want a lesser coverage, I use my MAC187 stippling brush to apply this bb cream, works just as well
  • I found out that I do not need moisturizer if using this, to prevent skin oiliness
Will I repurchase?
No, I have enough for now :)

Where can you purchase and how much?

I bought mine from a Korean ebay seller Vivihouse011 for Php969.64 (or $19.99) Free shipping + FREE GIFT! I love it that the free gift I got is what I originally want too! I've been going back on forth to try the pink or the gold edition. The extra Caviar in gold won my heart!

BB Cream Porn Time!!!I love it when I received it sealed and you have to peel off the sticker yourself

This is where the product would come out, have to clean it once in awhile

I do love the packaging!
It comes with a pump jar

Here's how it looks like on my hand A bit grayish to look at

If blended, its more on a pinkish tone

Further Blending, it blends so well that it doesn't look like I have anything on
*please click to enlarge

And here's a Before and After shot

Before shot:
Uneven color, redness due to allergies

After shot:
Skin is more even, minimal redness

Well, that's it! :)
This adds up to my BB Cream review!

If you're planning to purchase one!

Do read reviews and ask questions! :)

Goodluck BB Cream hunting!
Stay Happy!

  3. lol
its so fun seeing the bb cream craze right now with all the beauty bloggers~ I tried a few when they first exploded into the world...but they didn't really react well with me. which tends to happen whenever i do try korean stuff. anyway that packaging looks soo cool though. makes it seem very high class~ guess its because of the sleekness :P

when did you order your liners? im having fun with them^^ im really glad that they stand up to my everyday wear, seeing as i thought it really wouldn't.

  10. Trinh, I can't wait how the Skinfood works for you! :)

iyah, sad to say I don't have good access to Le'gere, I originally wanted Le'gere but the seller at ebay that sells it is from the US and shipping is a bit expensive!

Rasilla, I ordered the liners when they were on their buy 2 get 1 free! I can't wait to receive them!!!

  11. Prettybeautiful, can't wait to see your reviews on BRTC and yeah! You're right! We're also skin 79 gold sistahs! *high five*

Yumeko you know what? After taking the before and after shot coverage is quite good! I am surprised! because if you check your face over the mirror, you honestly won't see much difference!

Makemeup, I think eventhough you're tan this won't show up much as it disappears after!

  12. Fuz, I know, I've read that it looks grayish to other people, good thing the gray didn't show much on my skiN!

    Ally, thanks! :)

Connie, what's your next BB cream lemming? which brand? :)

  13. i like the bottle too. like phytogenic noh? :) the "moisture" freaks me out. LOL! :)

  14. Thanks for the review! :D
I'm thinking of starting to use BB cream, but i might start off with Etude House's first. What do you think? My face gets oily pretty quickly :(

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hey nikki... OK, I'm totally living up to my name "beauty fool"... but what is a BB cream? :'(

    ReplyDelete
  16. Shen, true, reminds me of Photogenic foundation :) You're frequently at The Face Shop ha! Obvious! hahhaha

Chian Li, if your face gets really oily then purchase the oil control one instead of the moisturizing ones, I've tested this many times, even using this alone, it still oil a bit on me. I guess this is perfect for winter! But we don't have winter :(

    Renee..lol it's ok..."What is BB Cream?"
BB cream is also known as "Blemish Balm" cream. Imagine tinted moisturizer, with moisturizing, protect, suncare, healing properties. I guess this is a hype now as everyone's raving about BB creams! I think it started in Korea and now the rest of Asia and the West are going for this too! I believe Singapore offers a lot of BB creams! Like Le'gere, Etude (i think), SKin Food, Missha and a lot more :)

  25. Nice review! I just got this in the mail. I'm a little hesitant to wear it though because I normally have oily skin. How long did you use it & did you experience acne? I have very sensitive skin, that's why I ask :) Oh and have you tried the Moist Labo BB cream?

    ReplyDelete
  26. slyangel, you're welcome :)

S.S. I don't have acne but I have spots or breakouts once or twice a month, what I love about this is that it clears up those darkness or spots that I have and of course it's a nice base for makeup! :) I haven't tried Moist Labo BB Cream! :)
