Eureka Moment: Handy Dandy Fan

I am not a "perspiring" type!  Everyone around me could be sweating like a pig while I can look cool and fresh! Sad to say, that was years ago!  My body temperature changed and it wasn't the change I want!  I've been irritable when the weather gets hot and humid and I hate fanning myself as I tend to perspire even more!  Can you believe Eureka moment today is something you always see around but never thought of really using because you think it's useless?  Well, I found out, it works and it helps maintain my cool!

We purchased these 2 portable fans for the sake of its Color, design and cuteness factor!  Nothing more!  We chose Pink and Blue because, obviously, my favorite color is pink and the husband's favorite color is blue.

Did you know that?
Mr. and Mrs. Askmewhat's Wedding color are pinks and blues!

I've had this inside my bag for quite some time but a couple of days ago, I needed to do a lot of walking and even inside the air conditioned mall!  I took out this fan and Voila!  Instant air circulation and it really helps!  It brings back the good mood in me!  Definitely a Eureka Moment and a wonderful find I have to share!

These handy fans are inexpensive!  Price ranges from Php100-200 (approx $2-$4.30).  You can purchase them at local stores like Clipper, Japan Home Centers, etc..

Have you tried taking along a portable fan with you?
Does it work? Are you willing to give it a try?

Have a wonderful weekend!
Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

P.S. Catch Dollface at Rockwell Tent on July 9-11, 2010!!!  Smile and click this site for more details!

  3. hello!
I'm the perspiring type! LOL..but mostly around my face area. When I was a teenager, I just sweat there all the time. More embarrassing is when it was the morning meeting. Everyone else is looking fresh whereas I was busy wiping my face..haha..XD Still brings tears of laughter to my eyes whenever I think of that moment. It would have help tremendously if I have a portable fan back then..=))
I don't even use it now. Cz ppl tend to stare..but whatever, I will get a portable fan now..=) Thanks for sharing the brilliant eureka moment!

  6. Thanks to your post, I remembered something important :)

I saw these on Toy kingdom way back before. But I did not buy it because it was too girly to the person I intended to surprise by buying something like this.

That is why I am still on the hunt for something that has a simple design and masculine vibe to it :)
