Today's review is focused on the word ORGANIC, there are so many brands coming up with ORGANIC products nowadays, I guess it's not just the trend, it is just that consumers are getting smarter and are starting to read the labels and care more about the products they slather on their skin!
Good job guys! That would push companies to create better, environmental friendly and health-safe products that we deserve!
Today, I will be sharing a review of a French brand Marilou Bio. I personally haven't heard about this brand until Rebecca of www.cutieverse.com recommended me to try them myself.
Here are 2 of the many Marilou Bio products I get to try ---
Marilou Bio Certified Organic Body Milk
(for the body)
Marilou Bio Certified Organic Day Cream
(for the face)

Pros
- Both products housed in a squeeze type tube, easy to dispense the appropriate amount of product needed.
- Both products worked for my sensitive skin.
- Both products get absorbed into the skin easily leaving no greasy-feel.
- Gives soothing effect on my dry and sensitive skin.
- Gives immediate moisture that lasts even the next morning.
- Certified at least 99% organic.
- Upon using overtime, skin appears soft and flake free.
- Moms with newborns who are scared to use any body milk or lotion can feel more secure as the ingredients are mostly organic (non-chemical)
- Smells good!
- Since the product is organic, shorter shelf life. Both products are good only for 6 months upon opening.
- No SPF.
- Price. Let's face it,with the price tag, you have a lot of other choices that are way more inexpensive that would also work for you.
- Only available online as of the moment.
99+% organic body milk and day cream that work for users with sensitive skin. Since organic, both products have shorter shelf life as compared to other chemically-laden products. Effective in terms of hydrating the skin leaving the skin smooth and grease-free.
Tips
- Check Taste Central as Marilou Bio products are on sale! You can try them at a more affordable price!
- If you have extremely sensitive skin and organic products work for you, invest on these products.
- Apply Moisturizing Body Milk all over body especially on dry areas with a circular motion until product gets absorbed into the skin.
- Apply a thick layer of Marilou Bio Day Cream all over face and neck before you go to sleep and you'll wake up with really soft and moisturized skin.
- If you have dry heels, apply a good amount of Organic Body Milk and wear socks, the dryness around my heel area gets hydrated the next day!
- Even though both products are Certified Organic, do a patch test before applying all over your body especially if you have extreme sensitivity to some organic products.
If I don't have a baby, I can easily go for other brands but since I want my baby to be safe with the products I use, I would invest on the Body Milk as a little goes a long way, the product is potent yet non-greasy.
To whom do I recommend this to?
Users who are huge spender when it comes to skincare/body care products. I highly recommend this to users with extremely sensitive skin to invest on organic products that may work for them. As for fellow mommies out there, I am willing to invest on organic product to keep my skin hydrated and looking good even with baby close to me!
