AMW Reviews: Etude House Water Color Blusher in Apricot

How are you AMW friends?
I recently posted a query on my Facebook page (AskMeWhats) asking readers what particular Korean makeup they want me to review!  And guess what?  It wasn't a shocker for me to get requests for Etude House!  It took me some time to finally visit Etude House store at Market Market when I was shopping for Christmas gifts last year!

Thankfully, most of the requests are products I wouldn't mind purchasing!  First stop:  Etude House Water Color Blusher!  The moment I set my eyes on them, I immediately fell in love and swatched them all and picked a shade I would wear on a daily basis!  It's APRICOT!  The shade that would work so well on my skin tone!

Pros
  • Sealed upon purchase.
  • Tube type packaging making it easy to dispense the right amount of product needed.
  • Applies smoothly.
  • Lightweight, doesn't oil up so works for ALL skin types.
  • Creamy texture.
  • Easy to apply even for first time cream blush users!
  • Long-lasting for users with normal and dry skin.
  • As scary as the color looks on tube, the effect is always natural and pigmentation is build-able.
  • Price.
Cons
  • Oily and combination skin may need to retouch after 2-3 hours.
Neutral
  • Packaging!  If the product gets squished inside your makeup pouch, expect "product diarrhea" *lol*
Overall
A lightweight blush that is easy to apply.  Pigmentation is build-able and lasts at least 2-3 hours for oily skin and the whole day for users with dry/normal skin.

Tips
  • Can be applied on top of BB Cream/ Foundation.
  • Can also be applied even on top of your powder foundation.
  • Re-apply midday if the color fades!
  • Best applied using your fingers or a stippling blush for a very natural effect.
  • If you applied too much, don't worry, just pat the area with your favorite liquid/powder foundation to lessen pigmentation.
  • If you are quick with the way you do your blush, feel free to dot the Etude House Water Color Blusher on your cheeks and blend away.
  • If you are afraid of uneven application, apply some of the Water Color Blusher on your hand, blend and gently pat on the apples of your cheeks.

Will I repurchase?
Yes!  I am looking into the purple shade!

To whom do I recommend this to?
Everyone!
