AMW Reviews: Sleek Full Fat Lash Mascara

When you mention SLEEK Makeup to me, there will always be a bit of "fluttery" stomach as this brand is close to my heart!

Why? Well, my first SLEEK product was an Eyeshadow Palette which was a "winning" from a blog contest I joined years ago (Thanks Cosmetic Candy) The palette traveled from the opposite side of the world and the trip was worth it! From then on, I highly recomend Sleep Eyeshadows as they are highly pigmented and inexpensive.

When Smile brought in Sleek Products, I was ecstatic as I get to try more of Sleek products and so far, they didn't fail my strict taste! And for the first time, I got their mascara and I gave it a road test immediately!

Pros

Packaging! The deep black rectangular shaped packaging make it unique and expensive to look at!
Wand - rubber wand that's flexible to use.
Gives a nice volume and length.
Waterproof, tear-proof. Stays the whole day until makeup removal.
Can be removed easily with regular eye makeup remover.
Holds the curl.
"serpent-like" head is unique making it easy to reach all corners of your lashes.
Formulation is just right, not too thick or runny.

Cons

Clumps a bit on first few usage when formulation is still wet. Give it a couple of weeks, the formulation is fine!

Overall
Sleek Full Flat Lash Mascara adds to length and volume but I call this mascara to give the good definition on my short and sparse lashes. Lasts all day and does not smudge or transfer.

Tips

Read AMW application style below with photos.
Wipe off excess mascara by slowly pulling the wand out from the tube (with stopper) to prevent clumps.
Curl your lashes first before you apply mascara.
To add volume on your lashes? Gently brush off translucent powder on your lashes (eyes closed) before mascara application.
Always start application from the base of your lashes wiggling all the way to the top.

A closer look on the tear-drop shaped wand.

Application AMW style:

Position the wand horizontally and work the product from the root of your lashes to the tip.
Use the domed tip portion in a vertical motion to separate the lashes and remove clumping. Aside from that, this head helps reach those short and very hard to reach lashes!
Again, position the wand back in a horizontal motion and apply more mascara on the outer corner of your lashes for more volume and drama.
