AMW Cooks: Asparagus in Mushrooms and Ground Beef

Asparagus, what are other ways for me to cook them without the usual ground pork in soy sauce or oyster sauce?  Well, I've decided to change it into beef and added my favorite Enoki mushrooms for texture.


The recipe is very simple, here are the ingredients you need ---



  • Asparagus
  • Enoki muchrooms
  • Ground beef
  • Soy sauce
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Corn starch
Steps:
  • Sauteed garlic and onion until fragrant.
  • Pour in ground beef and cook until brown.
  • Separate the cooked beef on the side, boil asparagus with water for approximately 5-8 minutes.
  • Pour in enoki mushrooms and the cooked ground beef. 
  • Add soy sauce, salt, pepper.
  • Optional add cornstarch to thicken sauce.
 Healthy, very easy to cook dish for the whole family!  The ground beef gives a distinctive taste as compared to using ground pork!  But of course, feel free to cook the asparagus with pork, chicken or even shrimps!
