Unboxing: Gamourbox's Flawless Beauty Box

Truth be told, I'm probably the world's slowest "Unboxing" person!  I guess I have my reasons..I'm a mom and it really takes time to take photos when you have a super active baby around who likes to touch all the products you hold (including the camera!)  And yes, I'm taking my own photos too (that explains the not so good shots) because Mr. AMW is a busy dad!  *hahaha*

Well, I'm sure you don't want to read more excuses from me and want me to jump right out and talk about Glamourbox's Flawless Beauty Box.

Truth be told, after my heart-pounding Beauties and Babies box , I don't know how non-moms would react receiving that box but I don't even want to think about what others would feel..all I know was that it was the best box ever!  If you're a mom, you'll understand why!  Everything for your baby is the best in this world!  

So when I received the Flawless Beauty box, before looking at the content, I was hoping for more makeup products, instead..the box isn't as full as before so I thought this is a let down.  But thankfully...it wasn't!

A quick overview of the products included in the box.  I immediately saw some "saviors" that made me love this box! *ahem* Ellana, *ahem* Ofra!

TRESemme Smootha nd Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

TRESemme isn't my favorite shampoo and conditioner of all time but don't ask me what because I can't really choose 1 brand as of the moment!  BUT, I always welcome shampoo and conditioners in good trial size because I like to bring these when I stay overnight in a hotel or travel!  Seriously, who uses hotel shampoos and conditioners?  

Cute sample size that is good for at least a week's usage!  Again, TRESemme may not be the best haircare brand for me but I have tried this brand and so far, it wasn't that bad!  And can I tell you a little secret?  I keep these cute bottles and I refill them because....come on..just look at the packaging, isn't it adorable????

 As much as I would LOVE to get excited with such a wonderful sized samples included in the box, I really can't!  I have extremely dry skin and I do have pimples here and there but I would never use any skincare products that focuses on Acne issues.  Don't get me wrong, I've been through that stage and I may appreciate this set if I'm still in highschool/college, but I'm not!  I'm in my mid-30s and I want something hydrating, age-defying, brightening! 

 

Ellana Minerals Multi Purpose Mineral Powder in Halo

I call this my pampa-blooming sa eyes powder!  I have tried this in the past (but haven't blogged about it).  This is my secret weapon on that "sparkly" inner corner like that of Beyonce.

 Ahhh lip scrub!!! I love these!  I haven't tried this but I use the damp toothbrush method just to scrape off excess dry skin around the lips!  Toothbrush or Strawberry Vanilla flavored lip scrub?  I'll definitely go for the latter!  Will definitely share if this product works for me or not!  Kindly wait for my review, Okay?

 

Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Laguna Beach

I did a review on 2 Ofra Lipsticks way back (all thanks to Glamourbox) and I can't wait to review this long lasting liquid lipstick. 

The texture reminds me so much of NYX Soft Matte Lip creams and the shade that's included in the box Laguna Beach is a lovely My Lips But Better in MATTE shade.  This is said to be highly moisturizing with good staying power and never feathers!  We'll see...

 As much as I would love to get excited with a new BB cream brand....how could I when it's packed this way?  I'd rather have them in squeeze type packaging (even if it's super small).  I find it hard to store this again (usually with tape) and I would probably lose it somewhere!  

BUT.....The Green Touch BB Tinted Cream is calling my name as green is known to counteract skin redness and I have a lot of those nowadays!  Will definitely try this for the sake of review and will keep you guys posted.  Please, help me by giving me a push..tell me you really want to read a review on this!  hahaha

Overall, as much as I would like to feel disappointed with the box...I wasn't!  The full size Ofra Lipsticks and the Ellana Minerals products are worth it!  They are brands that I'm really interested in and I don't mind trying them out!  The Belo Essentials set may not be useful for me but I'm sure I can give it away to my friends or family members who may find the set more useful!
