Funny how allergic we are (as a couple) when we read Kapitolyo as part of a restaurant's address. But when our highschool friends, whom we haven't seen for more than a year "Viber-ed" us for a New Year's get-together and the restaurant mentioned is located at Kapitolyo, Pasig, we just had to be there so we used Google Map and realized it isn't that far as we thought! I am sorry, for someone who has been stuck in traffic for almost 4 hours (one way) during the month of December, you can't blame us for being a "home body".
That fateful day arrived and it took us less than an hour from Downtown Manila to Kapitolyo, thankfully, the meet-up was after Christmas Day so traffic was better! With #KyleNash and Mr. AMW, we went in Poco Deli and immediately felt the place to be small yet cozy and never crowded! Upon entering, I see ice cream stand with cheese and deli products --- ahhh feels like home to us!
Thankfully, my friend called in advance so we had a full table to ourselves. Most of the tables are occupied so I'm glad we don't have to wait for our seats! (Tip: Please call for reservations beforehand!)
Now on to our dishes ---
German Sausage Sampler

German/Italian/Polish sausages, one big and 3 small sausages (Kielbasa, Nurburger, Bratwurst, Cheese Krainer, Chicken Sausage, Bockwurst or Frankfurter. Served with homemade sauerkraut and toasted NY bagel chips.
Beef Salpicao

Cube Angus steak pan-grilled with olive oil and garlic served in small plate with olive and steak juice and bread. Very tender cubes of heaven! :) 
Bacon Steak

A must try! Poco Deli is known for this dish and for a non-bacon lover that I am, I can totally understand why my husband's nostrils flared up when he took just ONE bite! :) Thick, savory slices of bacon served with eggs and bacon rice.
Quattro Formaggi Pizza

Four cheeses pizza --- Mozzarella, Pecorino, Gorgonzola and Grana Padano. I can't seem to remember all the names of the cheeses used in this pizza but I can definitely remember the taste of this pizza! A must try for cheese-lovers, even non-cheese lovers!
Truffle Oil Pasta

One of my favorite Truffle Oil Pasta came from The Cake Club! Who would've thought another restaurant would make me enjoy Truffle Oil Pasta as much as I did in my favorite restaurant?White sauce, truffle oil, topped with mushrooms or seafood. I'm allergic for seafood so I opted for mushrooms which is a very good choice!
The place feels like home and I find this a perfect place even on first dates! You have the feel of having the place all to yourself even if all the tables were filled!
The servers are very friendly and I will definitely go back to this restaurant for more food tasting!
