My First Time at Creations by Lourd Ramos Salon

Everytime I see Lourd Ramos in person, he is this super down-to-earth, very beautiful person both on the inside and outside!  I always forget he is a celebrity because he doesn't shove it in your throat how big he is!

I was invited to a couple of his "salon events" in the past because I have Blogger friends who knew him well, I always ended up not going because of time conflict or because the event place is too far to where I live.

Then one day, I got a private message on my FB page, Lourd himself invited me for a small "grand opening" event for his newest salon at BGC Stopover, Taguig.  Who can say no to that?  It was timing that my mom-in-law can look after my son so I immediately said yes!  And of course, my Blogger friends are there!  Who can also say no to that?
The salon is located at the third floor of BGC Stopover, the building isn't hard to spot because it is the only building that isn't "high".  With the maximum floor of 3, parking could be an issue on a busy day but I did tried parking and waited and actually got a slot after less than 15 minutes!

As soon as I saw the salon, I had this feeling of "warmth", not-snobbish at all --- that exemplifies Lourd greatly!  As I went in, I got a huge warm welcome from Lourd and I was ushered to my sit and asked for the services I wanted to try.

Since I just had my hair colored a month ago, I went for a haircut, hair treatment and manicure!

Davines, by the way, is the partner brand of Creations salon and thankfully, there were 2  representatives from the brand who helped checked my "scalp" to know which particular hair treatment would suit my current "hair and scalp condition".

And thankfully, I learned my scalp is quite healthy!  (shocking right?  Considering I almost always hear the opposite when I'm in a salon!)

My hair is fine, yet a lot of volume, I get some hair fall on particular areas of my scalp (all thanks to my son's hair pulling game!)  AND, I have a couple of white hair sprouting!  #huhuhu well, that's the problem with being extremely smart :P

I was advised to go for the Nourishing Vegetarian Hair treatment, vegetarian because the treatment's main ingredient is Avocado (and yes, Avocado is a vegetable!)  it treats not only my hair but my scalp to keep dry flakes away!

I had a quick Manicure as well as I waited for my hair to "cook".  It took around 20-30 minutes after massage and it was ready to wash.

I met Michael Pulanco who asked what I wanted for my hair.  I told him I'm a wash and wear type of girl who curls the hair every now and then but ties it up mostly on a tight ponytail when I'm home playing with my son!  I requested for soft layers and he made it all possible!

Look at my happy face!

I've seen my fellow bloggers who were prettified by the creative artists like Mark Castro and Markee Custodio.  So please, if you have the time, head on to Creations by Lourd Ramos Salon and look for them!  They are extremely helpful and very talented with their craft!  Spoken by the way from someone who studied haircutting -- ahem :P  But seriously, give the salon a try at least once in your life!

  2. Hello! I love your new look! Just wondering - what's the difference between the Php350 haircut and the Php950 haircut? Did you get the more expensive one?

    1. Depends who cuts your hair, if they are Senior Stylist (meaning, they have more haircutting years of experience), their rate is higher. I went for Php950 because I got the Sr. stylist :D
