The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths Is Promising But...

I got your attention with my blog title right?
Well, thanks for coming and please don't leave!  I really have something to say about the new Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths that I have been using for the past few weeks.

These are like regular cleansing cloths --- pre-moistened with a mild, soap-free cleanser that will help remove makeup and dirt!

Props to Cetaphil for the packaging, though the plastic isn't as thick as the ones from Burt's Bees, the lid seals in tightly and the sticker is amazing!  I had a hard time removing the sticker so you know the wipes are really moist on every use!

As for the cloth, they are ultra soft and gentle on skin!  What I noticed about the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloth is that, they are fragrance-free thus making it perfect for users with sensitive skin.

Now on to makeup removal!  I would say these wipes do a great job removing non-waterproof face and eye makeup plus lipsticks BUT, it won't remove waterproof makeup such as mascara, eyeliner and hard-to-remove lipstick!

If you ask me, I never depend on cleansing clothes to remove all my makeup because I always believe in washing your face thoroughly with facial wash and water BUT, I particularly use cleansing cloths to change my lip color midday or refresh my skin before retouch!

So if that's how you plan to use the Cleansing Cloths --- Cetaphil would work, but if you are going for a cleansing cloth to thoroughly remove your makeup, this won't make the cut!

What I love most about the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths is how it can refresh my skin and can remove regular makeup without stripping off my skin's natural moisture.  These cloths are very gentle and never irritate my skin no matter how many times I use it in a day.

You may purchase Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths at Mercury Drug (Php230.00), Watsons (Php235.00) and South Star Drug (Php250.00).  For more information, visit www.cetaphil.com.ph

Have you tried Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths?  What is your take on cleansing cloths in general and how do you use them?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  2. Hi Ms Nikki. I've never tried using cleansing cloths to remove my makeup although I've considered doing so many times. I'm in the medical field specifically infection control so I've been trained to think that materials esp moistened ones when opened and left for sometime can easily harbor microorganisms. Thus I prefer to buy tissues in small packs and add my preferred oil (J&J works for me) and use it on my face, it works well and even removes my waterproof makeups. I have oily and very sensitive skin, but this regimen works for me and I have no reactions at all.
