Tony Moly Make HD Silk Argan Oil Review

So you all now by now that I had my hair "Balayage-d" (if there's such term) with the help of HairShaft Salon.  As you all know "With Colored Hair comes Dryness!".   I knew from the start I should follow-up with hair treatment as advised by salon experts but I obviously do not have the luxury of time!  So I'm dealing this problem by ---

• By treating my hair with an at-home-treatment at least once a week.  
• By using "for color-treated hair" shampoo and conditioner. 
• By adding up an extra step to protect my hair from styling (ex. Heat protectant)
• By adding another step after shampoo and conditioner EVERYDAY!  (It was Dove Hair Vitamins before and now, I found another effective one!)

And coming from a brand that is known for skincare and makeup products?  I am surprised to see "Argan Oil" in their stores and I had to grab one and try.

Comes in an 85ml see-through bottle, the liquid is quite watery so my hunch was right, this product is definitely NON-greasy!

It is indeed watery with a wonderful light fragrance. 
One of the best-smelling Argan Oil I've tried in my opinion.

As for application, I always like to apply a pump starting from the mid-shaft of my hair going down to the tips.  Now I do this even on newly-showered damp hair or mid-day when I feel my hair is frizzy and needed some taming action!

So it is safe to say, this product works for both dry and damp hair!

That's me showing you how I would apply another "halfway pump" of the product midday ONLY on the ends where it tends to dry.

Before and After

You can't see a huge difference for now on my before and after photo because I have been using this consistently for a month now!  I am proud to say, my hair does not look "dead" like most newly-colored hair!  If you look closely, the after photo is less frizzy and the "ends" of the hair that tends to "peek out" or go in various directions are tamed on the after photo.

To sum it up, here's what I have to say about this product ---

• Smells GREAT!  Trust me when I say, this has the best-scented Argan Oil I've tried to date.
• Lightweight and non-greasy.  This product NEVER weighs down my hair as long as you don't over-apply and never reach near the roots.
• It does tame flyaways and frizziness in an instant!
• It helps improve the condition of my hair with prolong use.  I can easily comb my hair with a comb after every shampoo (which was a pain in the neck before).
• Hair color looks more vibrant and hair looks healthier.

Keep in mind that this product will NEVER straighten a wavy or curly hair but it can definitely improve the overall look.  This product deserves to be on my Eureka Moment spot for hair product that is worth checking out before the year ends.
