AMW Wears: The Body Shop Lip And Cheek Stain in Dark Cherry

Everybody loves The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Tint!  I believe it's one of the first few tints I own when I started Beauty Blogging!  It is indeed a bestseller the brand event created a cute packaging for it housed in a Geisha Doll inspired bottle.

Fast forward to year 2016, the brand finally came up with the same Lip & Cheek Tint consistency in more shades!  Wooohooo!

Shades: Red Pomegranate, Dusty Rose, Deep Berry, Dutch Tulip, Pink Hibiscus and Dark Cherry!

And I have been wearing it alone and underneath my favorite powder blush for the past months!  Can you guess the color on my cheek?

Guess it's difficult!  I'll answer it for you --- Dark Cherry!

Instead of the long, lipgloss type of bottle, this one comes in a shorter bottle just like that of a nail polish!  It has a doe-foot applicator that can be used to apply directly on cheeks or lips!

The shade Dark Cherry is similar to the previous Lip & Cheek Stain from The Body Shop, there could be a slight difference but I really can't tell!

Matte red that fades into a gorgeous flush

And as to how I apply?  Same with any other lip & cheek stains!  I like to apply a good amount at the back of my hand and gently pat using my fingers!  This way, I don't leave an obvious mark on my cheek!  If applied too much, I top it with a layer of powder foundation to "lighten" the shade.

Dark Cherry is a gorgeous color to use especially if you want long-lasting blush!  It stays the whole day or until makeup removal!  The shade is perfect for users with medium to darker complexion!  Light complexion users like myself need to be careful in application as it may turn out "fake-looking".  Other shades I highly recommend for my same skin tone are --- Dusty Rose and Pink Hibiscus.  If you want more "glam" to your cheek and lip color, try Deep Berry!

Here's a good news for Lip & Cheek Stain lovers out there!  To celebrate The Body Shop's 20th Anniversary, purchase 1 Lip & Cheek Stain and get the 2nd bottle for 70% off!  I just saw it on their website now!

Which particular Lip & Cheek Stain shade from The Body Shop are you crushing on?

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!
