Believe in the Power of Tea with Rituali Tea

I have always believed in the power of Tea, especially since I lived in China for 3 long years!  I've been to a "tea" factory and had expensive tea sessions with my students and learned the importance each tea variant gives!  That's why I am NOT surprised when Beauty Companies tap on the power of "tea" to beautify us not only on the inside but also on the outside.

Origins have recently launched their RitualiTea face and Body mask range.

Ritualitea Powder Face Masks (Php2,400.00)
Ritualitea Cleansing Body Masks (Php1,850.00)

The face masks come in a tin can while the body mask comes in a squeeze-type tube!  Each variant is color-coordinated and each variant has a specific function meant for specific skin types.

  • Mind Over Mate (Yerba Mate and Citrus) for Normal Skin - cooling and rejuvenating with citrus extract to uplift the senses.
  • Feeling Rosy (Rooibos Tea and Rose) for Troubled, reddened skin - Calming and soothing with AHA and zinc that helps calm skin problems.
  • Oolong La (Oolong Black Tea and Chai Spices) for Oily Skin - a pufiying mask.
  • Matcha Madness (Matcha and Green Tea) for Dry Skin - has L-Theanine to help relieve stress, can revitalize and has a superb antioxidant benefit.
Since the Origins Powder Face Masks are in powder form, you need to add water to transform the powder into a creamy mask mixture and apply on areas needed to help you feel relaxed and renewed.

Directions: Blend 2 level teaspoons of powder with 2 teaspoons of warm water in a bowl.  Mix well until the consistency is smooth and creamy.

My good friend Phoebe went and tried the Feeling Rosy while I definitely went for the mask for dry skin which is the Matcha Madness.

The mask is best applied on clean, dry skin.  Apply an even layer and you may use 2 different variants on specific areas of your face depending on your skin type.  Leave for 10 minutes and rinse.  It is best to use this twice a week for better results.

  1. Will love to try matcha. Although I think I will just make my own mask using my matcha powder and maybe yogurt.
