Pink Sugar x Project Vanity These Lips Don't Lie Matte Lip Crayons Review

Happy Monday AMW Friends!  I had a productive weekend, was able to host and judge a Nail Art Competition for Girlstuff at the same time, I was able to attend a Baby Workshop hosted by Smart Parenting in collaboration with Pampers.  I am busy!  I just felt it now!  #hahaha

That doesn't stop me from featuring new lip products on a Monday though!  Today, I am proud to announce the collaboration between a Beauty Blogger Friend Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity with Pink Sugar.

Project Vanity tapped Liz to design beautiful shades that everyone can wear.  And I can imagine the excitement of my Blogger friend because she is indeed a perfect candidate to collaborate with a make up line, someone who is passionate about beauty.

The Result?
Lip colors wearable by ALL!

These crayons are matte yet creamy and moisturizing in texture.  They've been infused with the usual Vitamin E and Shea Butter and thankfully, they are also highly pigmented like the original version!

Shades: (L-R)
Woke Up Like This, Love at First Swipe, Ready in Five and Nothing To Wear)

Swatch

Woke Up Like This
A muted pink shade that is my favorite out of the four.  Even the texture is the creamiest (in my humble opinion) so this is definitely the one I always pick up whenever I'm in a hurry and even on days I don't wear any makeup at all!  It just works!

Love at First Swipe
A cocoa shade with peach undertone.  This is the ultimate "brown lipcolor" you may start wearing if you want to get into the "Kylie-vibe".  This is a tone down version and I can imagine this shade to work for ALL skin tone.

Ready in Five
The perky pink shade from the bunch.  This is actually a "youngter's lipcolor" (as I would fondly call) but it has a tiny hint of "warm undertone" amidst the "cool facade" that make it work even for users with fair skin!  This looks exactly the same on photo and in person!

Nothing to Wear
A deep plum color but has a bit of a dryer texture.  For this color to apply smoothly, I have to prep my lips by applying a good amount of lip moisturizer (but that's just me because I have ultimate cracked lips).  It brightens up the look and would work on fair to dark complexion users.

Pink Sugar x Project Vanity These Lips Don't Lie Matte Lip Crayons are priced individually at Php399.00 (approx $9.00).  These are available in all Pink Sugar Counters nationwide and you may purchase these online at pinksugar.com.ph and Beautymnl.com.

What's your favorite Pink Sugar x Project Vanity Shade?
