When A Lip Liner is Enough

Seldom do I use lipliner and leave the house and it happened when I tried the new L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail 6H Lip Liner in Red Wine.

As promised, L'Oreal said it'll give me that defined lips like a pro and I easily got that in just a few swipes!

Comes in a slim pencil type packaging with twist mechanism, I appreciate the fact that I do not need to sharpen this and I can bring this anywhere.

The color of the lip liner pencil is the same with the color of the packaging, so you don't need to open up the cap to check out the shade every time (especially if you own different shades).

Did you know that this tiny pen comes with a built-in sharpener at the bottom of this pen to ensure precise tip each and every use?

Swatch:

Red/Wine

I like to start by applying at the cupid's bow  and gently creating a border.  Afterwards, I fill in the lip liner with short quick strokes to prevent "feathering".

If you have extremely dry lips like I do, you may apply using vertical strokes (similar direction with your lips' natural lines)

Thankfully, the lip liner is pigmented, I get a good amount of color in just a few swipes.  This is feather-proof, smudge-proof and actually fade-proof for a good 5-6 hours.  I like that it lightens a bit but I still have a good color left on my lips and they always look even!

I use this as my secret color beneath a "nude lipstick" or I like to use this just to ensure I have lipstick on after eating and drinking.

If you tend to lick your lips a lot, the lasting power may shorten but rest assured you still have color pigments left on your lips.

I'm also happy to announce that this lip pencil does not tighten or dry up my lips like most matte lipsticks do!

Overall, this is one Lip Liner I'm actually happy to use.  Will definitely repurchase more shades and will actually use this for my clients too!

Have you found a lip liner for you to be worn alone?
Kindly share the brand and shade name!

Keep smilin'
Stay happy!

  2. Nope I haven't found the perfect lip liner yet maybe because I am not really looking for one (I'm a lipstick-balm kinda gal. But this seems really promising. Is it drying?
