Weekend Food Trip at: Sunnies Cafe

It is indeed weekend but I'm still at Row 101 Summer Pop Up bazaar manning a booth.  I deserve the best milkshake in town and so far, I found it at Sunnies Cafe.

The first time I tried Sunnies Cafe was at their first branch at SM Megamall with good friend Benebabe Kriska.  It was a positive experience that's why when I saw their branch at HighStreet, I've decided to bring my whole family there for a quick dinner date.

Salted CaramelSutra
Php190.00
Salted caramel ice cream, crushed graham,
 whipped cream, malted milk

One of the smoothest and silkiest milkshake I've tried to date.  I will definitely go back for MORE!

Crispy Tacos
Php270.00
Asada steak, fried quail eggs, homemade crispy parmesan taco shells
cilantro cream sauce.

A MUST order if you visit Sunnies Cafe.  One repeat order I did when I visit this restaurant and I won't mind ordering this all over again!  What made this super unique?  The steak, the crispy parmesan taco shells!

Truffle Taters
Php190.00
Crispy potatoes, truffle, parmesan cheese, truffle aioli

Very unique!  I like how these are shaped differently for a change.  Just the right amount of truffle flavor with a hint of spiciness for that "kick".  Definitely apt for truffle lovers.

Honey Garlic Crispy Chicken
Php290.00
Crispy chicken, pickled cucumbers, cilantro lime rice

Boneless chicken breasts fried crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.  It lacks flavors so this would go perfectly if you added lemon sauce or mayonnaise (depends on your liking).

Stovetop Pork Chops
Php370.00
2-day brined pork chops, french beans, marble potatoes
scallion brown rice and country gravy.

Doesn't look much appetizing but tastes really good.  The pork is very tender and almost melts into the mouth on every bite.

White Truffle Cream Pasta
Php340.00
Spaghetti, grana padano cheese,
truffle and parmesan cheese

Nothing unique, you get the flavor of Truffle that you want in a creamy pasta but I wish they added more "sauce" because I want my cream pasta drizzled with creamy sauce!  (that's just me!)

Overall, dining at Sunnies Cafe is a good experience.  You get the feel of dining in a "cafe" and feels young with the menu that speaks so much of what we enjoy when we were just chillin' with our friends.

I wish they would improve their service at BGC branch, the door gets to be open all the time and the staffs had to manually close it each time someone comes in and forgot to close the door.  You can call for reservations but from 7pm onwards, they do not accept reservations.
