Eden's Paradise Minty Matte Stick Rouge in Bourbon Peach Review

Eden's Paradise came up with a Minty Matte Stick Rouge (Peaches and Cream Edition) which consists of 5 lipstick shades that are known to be wearable "My-Lips-But-Better" Summer shades.

I have tried a couple of shades randomly but I've recently used this particular shade a lot so I've decided to share my thoughts on these Paraben-Free, Cruelty-Free and 100% Non-Toxic lipsticks.

Eden's Paradise is a local brand who does their own skincare and cosmetics line.  I have tried a couple of the Eden's Paradise products like ---
Eden's Paradise Lip Cream in Nude Teddy
Eden's Paradise Lip Custard Cream in Winterberry

Both earned positive reviews from me so I actually was excited to try their new lip products upon receiving them over mail.

All of them are housed in a regular Lip Balm-type of packaging with a cap that comes with a "hole" wherein you can insert these lipsticks into a keychain or key ring.  The color combination is orange and pink (Which isn't a color combination choice for me but the eye-catching shade works!)

I appreciate the fact that the shade names are now printed so BIG on the body of the tube (Thank you Eden's Paradise for doing so!)

Now on to the lipstick itself, I find my expectation was a bit far-fetched from what the product was made for.  Since it was housed in a Lip balm type of packaging, I had this immediate expectation of a highly moisturizing "balm".  Obviously I was in a for a surprise when all the texture I got was a regular matte lipstick!

After recovering from the initial "shock" (arte no? hahaha)  I actually understood what this product is all about!  It is definitely a Matte Lipstick housed in a more convenient lip product packaging.  As for pigmentation, I was in for a nice surprise!  Pigmentation is REALLY good, you actually get a good pigment transferred to your lips in just a single swipe!  Since the product is made mostly with natural ingredients, I don't get the balm-y texture or smooth texture that I get in other brands, instead, it has more of a powder finish (Just like Maybelline Powder Mattes) !  I actually need to "tug" my lips a bit since my lips is extremely dry but I appreciate that the product does not dry out my lips or make my lips feel tight --- and definitely do not settle into lip lines.

The only complaint is that it does not hydrate or add moisture to my lips so a separate lip balm will be needed.

As for lasting power, the product lasts more than 2-3 hours.

Eden's Paradise Minty Matte Stick Rouge contains 5.5g of product in tube and 1 box contains 5 shades for Php699.00.
