My CLIO Lips

When CLIO arrived our shores, I knew this is a brand that I would spend a portion of my "makeup money"!  And after trying out their 3 lip products under the Virgin Kiss Line, I knew I had to go back to Club Clio and check out for more shades!

What's good about this line is that you get to play mix and match and you can easily create gradient lips with the help of Silkuid Lip!

CLIO Virgin Kiss Tension Lip 

Shade Butter Kiss

Nude Peach Shade 

The CLIO Virgin Kiss Tension Lip in Butter Kiss goes on smoothly and it has rich pigment.  It glides on easily even on my dehydrated lips and the color is very pretty and works even for my skin tone.

It stays up to 3-4 hours and I like how it never settled into my lip lines!

Now on to the CLIO Virgin Kiss Silkuid Lip in Insane Red.  I can't seem to wear this all over my lips so I thought of creating gradient lips with this.




The Silkuid Lip comes with a doe foot applicator making it easy for me to apply the color only at the center of my lips.  The texture is not too thick not too watery so I can easily spread out the color.

CLIO Virgin Kiss Tension Lip Butter Kiss + Silkuid Lip in Insane Red

I actually like this combination because the Insane red at the center makes my lips smaller.  At the same time, it gives a pop of color creating a younger-looking vibe.

Now off to the next lipstick called CLIO Virgin Kiss Tinted Lip in shade Irony.

Swatch : Irony

This is a semi-matte, longer-wearing lipstick (as compared to Tension Lip).  The shade Irony is a gorgeous nude peach shade that also works for my skin tone.  I like how it gives a matte finish yet it doesn't dry out my lips.  I like how hydrating the Virgin Kiss line is making me wanting to grab for more shades.

Though the shade is gorgeous, the only downside is that, it made my teeth a bit yellow.    I actually like to use this as a gradient lip base because it blurs out the pigmentation of my lips.

CLIO Virgin Kiss Tinted Lip Irony + Silkuid Lip in Insane Red

This is a stronger gradient lips look and the nude peach base makes the Insane Red pop even more (really bright in person).  This is the combo I will go for for night out.

Overall, I am impressed with CLIO Virgin Kiss line from the Tension Lip to Tinted Lip and Silkuid.  They are all highly pigmented, has lightweight texture and never dries out my already dry lips.  The shaes are pretty and I like how it is ALMOST fragrance-free.  I love how I got only 3 lip products but I get to mix and match and create more colors!
