Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder Foundation Review

One of the few products from the brand that I ordered online, the Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Multi Use Powder Foundation is what I've been using for the past few weeks.  I have normal/dry skin on some days and this product is actually best used for those with normal to combination skin.  I have a feeling this would lean better to the "oilies" but hey, someone from my side has to try it right?

I usually do not use the pricier powder foundations on myself but more for clients (I am stingy that way!)  But I usually give it a month or 2 to test the product first to know which type of skin would work well on certain products.  And if you are on a rush to finish reading this article, well, I ended up keeping this for myself and purchased several shades for my clients.

I picked the shade 118 Neutral Beige.

This shade is a warm shade close to NC30 for MAC users.  

Let's talk about the product itself, how do I feel about this?  Is it worth the investment?

First off, if you are aiming for non-cakey, smooth finish powder foundation that gives off even coverage minus the heavy feel.  This is the right product for you.  While it gives a good amount of coverage to hide minimal blemishes, dark spots or red spots, I find this NOT enough to cover up everything so a liquid foundation (perfect to go with Make UP For Ever Ultra HD Foundation) or use a concealer to cover flaws before setting with this powder.

I like it that they come in with a lot of shades to choose from so there are more chances for color match!  Nothing beats an even face and neck and it is easily achieved with this brand!

Now, the product comes with a sponge and I like to use the sponge for better coverage while using a big brush would be a perfect tool to set your makeup or as a retouch!

I find 118 to be a perfect match for me because it matches my neck more!  All thanks to those brightening skincare my face is really lighter than my neck!

Overall, even with dry skin, I find the product does not enhance my flaky skin BUT, using this product in countries with cold season like Korea, my skin flaked so badly I need heavy moisturizer underneath.  This is a perfect product for ALL Skin Types for our weather, but if you are reading from a country with 4 seasons, I'll say, this is meant for those with oily and combination skin indeed (normal/oily)!
