My Choice: Travel with Rootote

When I travel, I travel as Light as possible.  The only time you'll see me lugging so much stuff was when we traveled to USA with Kyle as a baby!  But given the chance to lessen the "load", I make sure to be as effective and efficient by bringing and using only the things that works.

Just like my travel bag!  I have a HUGE handcarry bag and have an extra bag folded neatly inside my luggage so number one - It has to be foldable and not bulky!

I was looking into leather travel backpack  one time and got inspired to look for a similarly designed travel bags

I like backpacks the most for travel but of course, it's not always "safe" to carry a backpack in certain countries, I want the bag to be multi-functional that can be used as a "handcarry" bag too especially on crowded streets (less chances of bumping other people too!)  - that's my number two requirement.

Let's head on the requirement three which is one of the most important requirement.  It has to be spacious and easy to get my things - from wallet, camera, mobile phone, passport, sunglasses.

And lastly, it doesn't hurt if it looks fashionable!  Who likes to carry ugly bags anyways?

Guess what?  Found it all with ROOTOTE Bags!

Rootote is known in Japan for the innovation of a simple tote bag into a stylish and functional bag that fits an active lifestyle while highlighting Japanese street-style fashion. Rootote has 14 stand-alone stores and are in more than 200 department stores all over Japan, along with stores in Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, and now in the Philippines.
Rootote offers a unique line-up of 2-way backpacks and tote bags that are fit for both men and women.  Japanese influence is evident in every Rootote bag with fashion-forward style and design functions that are very practical in any situation. The name Rootote comes from the animal kangaroo; since kangaroo’s have an inner pocket, so do all Rootote bags inside with the patented “roo pocket”.
Rootote emphasizes on the perfect combination of form and functionality, as all bags are designed to be the perfect stylish companion for travel, sports, casual-use, and other outdoor activities. All bags have the patented “roo pocket” along with numerous pockets inside and outside the bag. These bags are mostly 2-way backpack/tote bags, and have other useful features such as being water-repellent. It is perfect for any occasion and any weather.

I picked the ceoROO 2way backpack in Pink and road tested this bag during my recent Seoul trip.  As small as it seems the backpack looks, looks definitely good be deceiving!  I was able to fit my important documents, long wallet, makeup kit, mobile phones (yes with "s" as I brought 2), Flytpak (which is big and rectangular yet it fits perfectly on the front pocket making me a perfect "Wifi Hub" for everyone!)  and lastly, would you believe I was able to fit in my foldable flats inside?

And I can easily hold it as "handcarry"...

or swing it on the side using just a single strap or releasing 2 straps to use it as a backpack!

Because the color I chose tends to dirty up easily, I don't mind as I can easily have my "Roo" washed without ruining the quality of the bag at the same time, this baby is waterproof so seriously, what more can you ask for in a bag?

But of course, the usage of this bag doesn't stop there, I am definitely using it still back in Manila as my in a rush bag in completing my daily errands!
