Banila Co. Color Correct CC Color Spot Concealer Review

Who loves concealer and depend on them as much as I do?  Raise your hands please!
I use them up so much I keep on purchasing them!   As much as I have my favorites on top of my head, I can't help but try different brands and share to you my thoughts on them.

Are you ready for another concealer review this time from Banila Co.?

Well, technically, the real concealer from the brand is called Real Stay Concealer which I reviewed HERE,  the brand may be into natural-looking makeup, I was a bit surprised as well that they offer CC line (Color Correction).  Don't worry though, this line is more on the subtle side, not the PRO shades wherein you need to have a bit of makeup artistry background to be able to pull it off.

This is subtle, and I like it for daily use!

If you're running out of time but want to look flawless, the It Radiant CC Color Spot Concealer is something you should own.
Contrary to typical skin-toned concealers, the It Radiant CC Color Spot Concealer comes in various color correcting shades to quickly even out your skin tone. It is packaged conveniently in a thin twist stick that is compact and easy to carry. If your skin concerns are isolated in a small area of your face, this would easily spot correct them in a whim. Simply dab on the trouble areas and blend away with your fingers.

Now here's the thing about Color Correct products, you cannot expect one product to do EVERYTHING.  You have to pick the major use of such product and only YOU would know what your major skin issues are.

Is it redness?  Acne Marks?  - Pick Green
Do you want to Brighten your skin when it looks dull or yellow?  - Pick Lavender
Do you want to cover light under eye circles and certain sallowness?  - Pick Lemon
If you want to cover under eye and you have cooler undertone.  - Pick Skin Pink
Now, for me, my major issue ever since are my dark undereye circles, and I have warm undertone, Skin Peach is definitely the ONE for me.

Since this is a Stick Type concealer/corrector, it is best to apply directly on the desired area.  BUT, since this is a stick product, I have to remind all users who tend to have dry patches around the eye area to hydrate the area properly before application.

Whether you have combination, oily or dry skin, the eye area is extremely sensitive and using such product will definitely dry out the area.  Thankfully, the Banila Co. Color Correct CC Color Spot Concealer does not drink up the moisture of my skin, instead, it applies dreamily - creamy and smooth but of course, midday, the area may need a bit of help in the hydration department.  So I like to bring a small sample tube of eye cream just to hydrate the area midday.

Before and After
before and after photo of Banila Co. Color Correct CC Color Spot Concealer Review

As you can see on my before and after photo, Skin Peach can cover and highlight the said area, but as you can also see - for all stick concealers - the eye area tend to look drier than usual, why not use cream concealer instead?

Well, to answer your question, stick concealers are drier in texture thus it will stay longer on the area, product won't slide off easily that's why I use this when I know I will perspire more than usual.  Again, hydration will be the key to successful concealing!

The concealer is priced at Php625.00 (approx $14.00) available in all Banila Co. stores locally.

Are you into liquid/cream or stick type of concealers?
