Avon Pink for Every Pinay Like You and Me

So I haven't worn pink lipsticks in AGES!

But since March is International Women's Day, I knew we had to celebrate in a way that we celebrate womanhood!  What's the best way to do so?  Where any shade of pink lipsticks because pink represent confidence, energy and femininity.

Avon recently came up with different pinks shades under the Avon True Perfectly Matte Lipsticks and Avon True Ultra Color lines. 

I went ahead and used Avon True Perfectly Matte Lipsticks because matte is still big in this season and guess what, Avon actually passed the dehydrated lips test!  Their matte lipsticks work for me!

Out of the 5 shades I've tried, the most natural-looking shades for me are Pure Pink and Rose Awakening, they are the perfect MLBB shades that has a hint of pink.

If you wanted something more lively, Mauve Matters and Splendidly Fuchsia are both nice alternatives.  But if you wanted to bring out that statement --- Pink Statement?  Go for Electric Pink!  Reminds me so much of Barbie Pink lip color.

Spendidly Fuchsia and Rose Awakening

If I may have to say, these lipsticks ROCK!  They are velvety smooth to feel during and after application.  Never cracks, cakes or settle into my dry lip lines!  They give out extremely pigmented color, one swipe is enough to cover my original lip color!

They give out a nice, smooth, matte finish and lasts quite a long time - let's say 4-5 hours with eating and drinking.  The lipstick will start to fade midday but you don't have to worry since it is easy to reapply without adding much to lip feathering.

AMW wears Mauve Matters

this is a very usual color that I get even in some other brands.  This particular lip color is on the medium to darker side (if layered).  I like how this color would work on users with fair to dark complexion!  Just universally flattering.

AMW wears Pure Pink

Pure Pink looks more Peach than pink on my lips.  I like this as my nude color lippie shade.  It's cool tone yet it doesn't make me look sick which earns a thumbs up from me!

AMW Wears Electric Pink

Electric Pink is a cool-tone bubble gum pink shade.  It is a bit tricky to use especially if users have fair skin!  It is advisable to play up with your makeup to make this lipstick color work.

AMW wears Spendidly Fuchsia

Spendidly Fuchsia I would say is almost similar to Electric Pink in terms of "brightness".  This has warmer undertone though so I like wearing this more than Electric Pink.

AMW Wears Rose Awakening

Rose Awakening is a lovely medium rose pink lip color.  I like how this can warm my face even without much makeup on!  I love how it makes me look girly yet still professional enough to be used for work!
