I love The Body Shop for their skincare and makeup. Their makeup has always been on a safe and "for daily" side. As a professional Makeup Artist, I wouldn't consider this brand for my work until recently.
It started with their Nude Cushion Foundations, then the arrival of the Vegan Brushes which works so well! Then the Matte Clay Skin Clarifying Foundation sealed the deal!
Then this little, tiny pot landed my desk one day and I knew that the brand really "UP" their game! This concealer is game changing for the brand because it is really good!

Swatch: Shade 23 Matte Clay
I personally am not sure how many shades they offer locally but on international site, there are a total of 8 shades ranging from light to dark.
Shade 23 is a perfect color correcting shade for the "under eye" on users with fair complexion while this shade is also a perfect concealer if you have medium to darker complexion!
With clean fingers, I apply good amount on the area as shown on photo below.
And blend using a "dry" Beauty Blender for soft-focus finish!

- The concealer is very smooth and creamy so it is easy to blend effortlessly.
- The finish is matte yet smooth. I actually look like I don't have makeup on and it does not settle into lines and wrinkles.
- A few dab is enough to hide the undereye darkness, that said, the product is highly pigmented. Can layer from medium to heavy coverage.
- Stays on until makeup removal if "set" properly. Even with dry skin, I like to set this still with a little bit of powder for the product not to "move".
- The only downside maybe is that you need your finger to grab the product so it could be unhygienic. As for me, I prefer to grab product using a concealer brush.
- The pot is small so if you are a concealer-wearer, this will finish up quickly.
Overall, this is a great daily concealer but I also highly recommend this for PRO MUAs because this is also perfect for clients who have sensitive skin.
