If you now all about BLK Cosmetics, you know that this is not their first "liquid type" lip product. Their first are the BLK Long-Lasting Liquid Matte Lipsticks which I already reviewed immediately after the launch.

If you ask me to choose between the two, I'd go for Soft Matte Mousse because I have very dry lips! These are the times I appreciate brands who create long-lasting moisture lip products with us (snake skin lips) in mind!

So you kind of know how this review will go....

Housed in a frost-type plastic packaging, I love how I can see the shade immediately. I know they only have 3 shades available for this collection but I pray they will expand more shades in the future with the same texture in mind. Because obviously, I love the texture.

The doe-foot applicator is nothing unique, most makeup brands nailed the applicator and I love how easy I can apply my lipstick even without mirror!

Swatch: BOOYAH

Booyah is a soft pink shade with soft brown hue.

This is a great MLBB shade for fair to medium complexion. But for me, since I have dark pigmented lips, this appear a bit lighter on me with a nice touch of warmth.

Yes, that's why I love the '90s lip products, browns are in during those times and with my features, adding a bit of warmth definitely goes well for me! This is an almost nude shade that does not look "sickly" on me.

As for texture, it applies smoothly and evenly and covers uneven color. I like how it does not dry out my lips midday and it stays for approximately 3-4 hours with eating and drinking.

Thankfully, all BLK Cosmetics are cruelty-free so I'm happier using this product.
