"Crushing" The Body Shop's Colour Crush Lipsticks

So you all know I have dry lips, and there are only a handful of lipsticks I can truly wear without lip balm!  And hail to The Body Shop for getting into the short list!

Introducing, The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks !  They are one of the most hydrating lipsticks I've tried to date and I cannot get enough!

Got 2 shades to work on as of the moment and planning to widen my shade range.

My favorite daily lipstick to date.  I have this in my bag for instant retouch and I get compliments every single time I use this!  It just works for my skintone and works for my pigmented lips.  It evens out, warms my skin at the same time, hydrates my lips making it look healthy!

This is a deep purplish brown shade that actually works well on photos but I personally think its not for daily use.  This is a choice if I plan to create a statement but I think this would work best on girls who have darker complexion!

Now let's veer away from the color talk and let me share my thoughts on the quality.  The lipsticks have Marula Oil so it is indeed very smooth and the product glides onto my dry lips without settling into dry lines.  Best of all, I never have to pick a separate lipbalm for the rest of the day, all I need to do is apply this directly even on top of my dry, flaking lips and it will hydrate it like no other!

As for longevity, I guess that's the only downside you can expect from a very hydrating lipstick, it slides off a bit so you need to make sure to clean up after eating and drinking because the lip color tends to move outside the lip lines!  For me to be able to settle this issue, I always like to apply a translucent powder on the outer corner of my lips creating a "border" for the lipstick not to slide out.  A small extra step I don't mind because I am really in love with this product!

Have you tried The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks?
Which particular shade anong the 2 are you crushing on?
