Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Review

Finally putting up the most talked about Serum when Innisfree arrived in the Philippines - the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum.

First things first, WHEN do you apply serum?  That is a question I've been asked so many times so let me clear this up for you before I share to you my full review.

Serums are best applied twice a day and this is to be used immediately after cleansing and toning.  On days I am too lazy to apply moisturizer (especially on a hot, humid day), I use this alone and apply sunscreen before going out.  I find serums to be hydrating enough to keep my skin plump and healthy throughout the day.

Now that you're clear on when to apply it, let me share to you my in-depth review on the Innisfree's most sought after product.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Says ---
A moisturizing serum with organic Jeju green tea and green tea seeds that hydrate your skin from deep within!  More moisture and freshness with 100% green tea. Rich in amino acids and minerals, green tea from Jeju's own green tea leaves hydrates your skin.
Dual Moisture-Rising Technology™ derived from green tea and green tea seed oil . The fresh green tea deeply hydrates your skin and the green tea seed oil creates a strong moisture barrier to keep your skin moisturized longer.

The first thing to apply after a face wash!
As the first skincare product you use, it helps hold moisture in your skin and prevents moisture loss.

AMW says ---

Pros
  • Great packaging.
  • Light and watery texture, easy to gets absorbed into skin.
  • Highly hydrating considering its' texture is watery.
  • Absorbs really quickly and I can immediately apply base makeup!
  • No allergic reactions, redness or itchiness considering I usually get sensitive on new skincare products.
  • Non-sticky.
  • Can double up as a primer as my skin is smoother and application of foundation is easier and smoother.
  • Works for all skin types.
  • Skin GLOWS after constant use.

Cons

  • Some may find this to be not enough in terms of hydration but I don't recommend to use this alone, best to follow up with moisturizer.

Overall
A quick drying, great textured serum that helps hydrate the skin keeping skin soft and glowing.

Tips
  • Best to use twice a day, day and night.
  • Tap on skin instead of rubbing to keep skin soft, plump and smooth.
  • Though a little goes a long way for some users, I find using 2-3 pumps is best especially if your skin needs extra hydration.
  • Best applied after cleansing and toning.
  • Best to follow up with your favorite moisturizer.

Will I repurchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Everyone.  Works for ALL Skin types.

Where to purchase and how much?
Available at Innisfree store SM Mall of Asia branch priced at Php1,359.00.
