Lasagna Recipe Using Smokehouse Jack

So I received this huge cheese package from my friends from Real California Milk and I am so ecstatic I've decided to bake Lasagna right away because it was perfect timing my family and I were craving for a homemade version.

Thankfully, I have all the ingredients except CHEESE!  Hahaha, so thank you again RCM PH for these.

Ingredients:

  • Oven Ready Lasagna Sheets from San Remo (I love this one especially for moms in a hurry!)
  • Ground Beef or pork. (You can pick one, in my case I combine both)
  • Spaghetti sauce.
  • Bell peppers.
  • Chopped onions.
  • Different cheeses - depending on your palette.
  • Anchor Parmesan Cheese and Mozzarella Cheese.
NOTE: to create creamy lasagna, it is best not only to layer spaghetti sauce but also creamy cheeses.  I like to separately melt cheeses with a bit of milk in pan.  I am using my newest Silkway FryPan, a laminated film pan, making it easy to melt cheese without it sticking on pan!

So easy-to-clean it looks good as new after all the mess I've made.

After all the sauce are prepared, layer San Remo lasagna sheets on a baking glass and layer good amount of spahetti sauce and melted cheese.  In between, I add mozzarella cheese for that extra "stretch".

What I love about Smokehouse Jack is the certain smoky taste minus the excess saltiness.  You just get good, flavorful cheese flavors and you can still taste the spagehetti sauce even after baking.

Prehead oven 180 degrees and put in the lasagna platter.  Bake for another 20 -25 minutes.

Voila!
Creamy, yummy home-made lasagna perfect as gifting too for the holidays!

Have you done Lasagna at home?
What cheeses do you use?
